    Afternoon all,
Fairly lazy day, had to go for a little ride to go and get the car after last night. The lad is horribly broken after last night. Obviously I've taken the p!ss mercilessly. Bit annoyed with him as he lost his phone. Thankfully one of his mates picked it up. Can't have too much of a go at him, I'm hardly teetotal.
Watching the rugby premiership final, good match now in extra time.

    Sunday

Expecting a grumpy wife after my mate and I got smashed at his BBQ - she could have joined in on the shots :)

Today is a few jobs and then into town to watch the bike race, followed by the theatre to watch Andy parsons with the wife

The potential issue is I've got access to a free bar at the cycling and maybe smashed by the time she gets into town

I was at a barbie for a couple of hours last night but had to drive even though not far away. Ho hum.

Just enjoying the peace with the hound while we have the house to ourselves. This afternoon is a bit of packimg followed by the long drive North ready for a couple of days of sorting and turfing out.

    Bank Holiday Monday

    Morning Losers!

I've woken to a thick fog outside. This is not what I wanted! I was planning on going on a huge ride with stupid amounts of climbing, but I think I might just opt for a short spin if it clears up.

Today is just relaxing, shopping and more relaxing.

    Afternoon clingons,
Lazy start after a mahoosive sleep was very good. Now ducked inside after a spot of pottering outside as it's raining. Could do some scoff soon. Lad is studying, wife and girl are in town. Enjoying the peace and quiet.
Hope all goes well in the north Stevo, grim job I'm sure.

    Evening wonkers,

Got nephew visiting, he's a hungry young un so i have had him grafting! Been chopping and chipping dead trees, rotavating another patch of garden for more veggies and will have him fetching me another beer as soon as this epic tome is submitted.

    Ditto V68's sentiments Stevo.

    Thanks lads,

Made surprisingly good progress today - all clothes and shoes now sorted and with my old dear or bagged up for the charities to collect. Sometimes you just have to put your blinkers on and get turfing!

Next couple of trips will be with mates in tow for the heavy lifting, so will be more sociable.

Now scoffing a pot noodle washed down with leftover plonk from the wake.

Back to Work Tuesday - Meh

    Morning Losers!

An impromptu visit from my dog-walking friend meant I didn't get half the stuff done I wanted to yesterday. Ah well.

Today I just need to get through work and not kill anyone. This should be a simple task, though I can't make any promises.

    Morning crafty butchers,

Had our lame chicken to the vets, it was the first time anyone had taken a chicken to him as the French will just top em and cook em up! Hopefully he's fixed her as she is a good layer!

In other news more diy and bbq and boozes later.

So BG has taken a chicken to the vet to get her mended because she's a good lay? Times are hard in rural France I see.
Dull day in the office here, keep getting customers phone me with stupid questions. Very dull. Cakes are being delivered shortly, this is good.

    NFF (Normal For France).

Lots more house clearing today. The house is full of bags for charities, the garage is full of bags of trash. And a visit to the solicitors to get the probate signed. Then a long boring drive replayi g my CDs for the umpteenth time. The joys or work await tomorrow but will pedal in to compensate.

    Wednesday

    Morning Losers!

Our work computer systems have crashed. The air con in the server room died, and the backup air con hasn't worked for a while. As a result, something fried, and now the only things that work is we can log on, and go on the internet. This means work has been horrific, boring and awesome all at the same time!

    Roll on 4pm!

    Monging morns,
Broke one of my front teeth eating a cookie this morning, fookin' irritating to say the least. Now waiting to go to the dentist for an emergency appointment. I think they will extract my wallet before they do anything else. Deep joy.

Pubs are not happy at this loss, they will be millions out of pocket!

Chicken is still a good lay(er) but still has a limp! Maybe i was a bit rough!

    Afternoon chumps,

Been grafting this morning, sorting the roof tiles from where the bee's nest was removed, moving loads of wood into the barn and checking the the swimming pool temperature was just right..........it was!

More guests arriving for a stay in our little rental, this is good as i will have some money for boozes.

    It certainly looks suspicious.

Good pedalling in and out but a bad day at the office. Told some lawyers to sod off - pity as one of them is really good looking. Now chilling with some plonk in a very un-TLW like fashion.

Shoot day and I went to the pub, just after telling the wife the dropping off of the kids I promised tomorrow isn't happening

    Thursday

    Morning Losers!

Last night was a busy one, got a few chores done, went for a run, played some PS4 and even managed to have a glass of wine!
Today, I just need to get through work and then I will have a similar evening of some chores, PS4, maybe a glass of plonk. No running though. It's rest day.

    Afternoon Spazwangles,

On the way home already :) Got on conference call then its Dad's taxi service - free return trip to and from the O2 Arena for Stropteen and one of her mates. Wonderful. I'll have time to kill there so will have a slap up dinner I reckon.

    Afternoon weirdos,

Been to the seaside at La Rochelle today, wandered about admired the boats and some quite fine French scenery. Back in time for a dunk in the pool and it's foods o clock with added boozes!

    Evening all,
Busy day today, actually had to do some work. Didn't like it so glad I'm home now. Work would be a lot easier if I didn't have to deal with people, some people at any rate.

    Yeah Friday

The problem is the kids have the 2nd night of their play, so no local pub fun

Might cycle to work, but will end up being picked up as there isn't enough time to get home :(

    Morning Losers!

I did no house chores last night, I just played my PS4. No regrets!

This morning I'm eating Sugar Puffs (or whatever they call them now). I'm sure they used to be sweeter. These test pretty sh1t really.
After work, I'm off to Bury for a fun-filled weekend. I have a treasure hunt in Manchester tomorrow, and also a picnic. If it's dry.

    Afternoon clowns pockets,

Had a decent mornings graft, homemade pizza for lunch and now I'm too stuffed to move. Must man up as boozes and bbq later.

Ps as it's another scorcher here I'm off into the pool!

Afternoon cruisers of the Bourneville Boulevard,
It's been another busy morning here. Wobbled in on the pub hack as we're off to the pub straight from work for a retirement do. Unfortunately not mine as I'm not as old as bg. Going to be a heavy weekend I suspect, well someone has to compensate for TLW being a lightweight.
Just been to the cafe so I might have a snooze now to prepare for this evening's onslaught.

You'd better be careful saying things like that in case he turns up on the 22nd.

Evening Felchers, moderately quiet day in the office. One of the minions brought some Finnish liqueur chocolates back from their holiday and boy were they strong. Good sneaky way of having a drink in work :). The CEO and CFO drifted past and tried them - seemed a bit surprised bit didn't complain...

Now on the train looking forward to a cold cider or two later on.

    Saturday

    Morning Losers!

I was meant to be having my BMI taken today, however I did a quick rough workout online to see what it was, and it registered me as not only overweight, but about one stone off being obese! Apparently I need to lose one and a half stone to be 'normal'!

So todays plan is to eat as little as possible, walk around as much as possible and take it from there. If I do this for a few days, I should have lost at least a little weight before I absolutely must have my BMI checked.

    Off to a treasure hunt!
