    Afternoon felchers,
    The hangover caused by beer and curry is now subsiding, still best not to get too close to me though. Out for more beer tonight as it's Wednesday but also going to meet an old school friend first to add to the beer intake. Got to work late this afternoon as well so it's going to be a long day.

    Just on the train home with a well deserved cider chilling in the fridge. Started recruiting again today for a Dutch minion as one of the current ones is retiring soon. Might get a couple of trips out of it.

    Thursday, Nearly There

    Morning Losers!

    Work was funny yesterday, everyone is getting quite stressed over the stupid requests being made, I think it's just going to get worse and pull me in too at some point.

    Today is more of the same. My 'To Do' list is growing longer, and my motivation for crossing things off is getting lower. After work I need to go out on the bike as yesterday pretty much turned into a Fifa17 night.

    TFI Friday! Considering it's been a 4 day week, it certainly doesn't feel like it!

    I get to leave 30 mins early today, so I'm going to take advantage of that. Went for a run last night and I'm tempted to go for another one tonight if I can be bothered.

    Yeah nearly weekend

    Working locally today as I've got physio on my leg. Stupid cousin has booked his wedding for while we are on holiday. So managed to move the dates on the house we have hired, but miss ard-rock now :(

    Definitely feels like its been a long week. Today is of course a day for eating as much dead pig as I possibly can and then stopping at a pub with the Mrs on the way home. This is good. Until then I will carry on avoiding punters as they are not good. Roll on the weekend.

    Working from home and not in the office now until next Thursday which isn't bad. Unfortunately today is quite busy and have been on calls for most of the day - luckily quite a few are of the 'mute and listen' variety so i can multi-task.

    Apart from that, short of exercise and looking forward to the weekend...

    Up early.as I cant sleep. A day of jobs awaits and some getting ready for heading North tomorrow. Later is watching Stropteen playing in some concert I'm not interested in - it had better finish before MOTD starts !

    Today is a bit of dad's taxi work this morning and then some friends of the wife's are coming over, so trying to find an excuse to avoid!

    I wish I could sleep better. I seem to wake at 6am regardless of whether there's an alarm or not. Ah well.

    Today I'm going to ride my bike up some hills, though I'm severely lacking motivation. After this, I need to do some shopping for food, to stay alive and stuff, and then I'm going to sit in front of my PS4 and play for the rest of the day.

    I've packed my bags with dark clothes and headed North shortly, back on Wednesday. At least the footy is on the radio this afternoon to make the drive more bearable.

    Keeping an eye on the football on the beeb as quite fancy Forest to go down, mainly because i know a few Forest fans so can get stuck into em!

    In other news I'm off to the airport soon to pick up the parents, hope they have bought plenty of cash with them as well they're not drinking any of my booze! Here for two weeks, will have to get them out working the land!

    Ride this morning rudely interrupted by my rear getting nailed.

    Fully intended to take the other bike out for a ride this evening but that is currently being thwarted by roof terrace, sunshine and cider. Bugger.

    The problem with cracking weekends is the return to work just seems even more unbearable. I really need a change of career.
    To make it worse, I'm with retard minion this week.

    I'll try to get out on the bike this evening, I need to start going out as often as possible and going further and further...

    That pretty much covers how I feel this morning. Only got a 4 day week at least with Fryday booked off. I think I'm going to have to kill my neighbours. I was woken up yesterday by him shouting at the kids before 6am, the wailing and shouting at kids carried on from then on. To top it off they had a f@cking Ocado delivery at 6.45am so we had a van outside our window clattering boxes about. Today when I have to wake up at 6.30 I don't hear a squeak from them.

    Work is about to get insanely busy. To add to it, the retard minion has booked the day off (though I'm glad of this) so I'm left with a lesser-spotted minion, which will be interesting.

    Today has been spent getting a whole year older. I am consoling myself with cider in the sun before the missus takes me out for a fancy dinner.

    Tomorrow will see only a mild hangover as training for the cruddy coast to coast must continue.

    It was far from easy saying goodbye but I feel like I've got some closure now. We gave him as good a send off as we could and after that I started to sort through the house to keep myself occupied.

    Now trying to unwind with the leftover food & wine. Back down South tomorrow when hopefully normal service will be resumed.
