    Morning bell whackers,

Bit breezy on the continent today so leaf collection is out the window, other mincing/loafing will be carried out. Got some compost heaps to construct so that may figure.

Might have boozes later but thats most days, just not in the quantities that Tlw1 has.

    Morning all,
Lazy start is being had, this will be followed by general laziness. Have to go to my folks' to see my sister for her birthday. Pub later with a mate that's over from French France.

Well we got rid of Stropteen for part of the day so have had time to do some great jobs like sweeping leaves off the drive and cleaning dog shyte off my work shoes...now listening to the footy with some conflicting emotions....

  • Back to Work Monday - Mehhhhhh!

    Morning Losers!

I really should just make Sunday nights a write-off, early night kind of time. I always go to bed knackered, and then work just seems annoying as hell.
It's not helped by the fact retard minion has 2 days holiday. This is both a blessing and a curse, I'm going to be so busy!

Reasonable sleep, but not enough to recover the lack of it over the weekend

Leg is still sore from pulling a muscle running yesterday, which is rubbish. Today is working from home as the builder is here to start the bathroom.

Later is dad walking taxi as I drop the eldest off at youth club

Morning workers, walkers and weird uns,

Still a bit breezy here and not in a farty way!

Animals done, breakfast happening and management is advising me of my tasks today which I'm obviously ignoring as I'm writing this, she doesn't sound happy but I'm so old i can blame my pitiful hearing!

Onwards to diy based power tool peril.

Good lord, I hope not. Are you riculously tall? He didn't make it to the pub as he had to stay with his old dear. Fair enough as he'd just buried his old man.
Working from home today, more spreadsheet frivolity. That's about as exciting as my day gets.
    Onwards and upwards...

    Evening Spazwangles,

I'd be lying if I said today was good but that's Monday's for you, add in a touch on man flu and I wasn't the best company at work. I was thinking about getting back on the bike tomorrow but the weather looks tremendously crap.

  • The Day After the Storm - Tuesday

    Morning Losers!

Well last nights commute home was a bit shoot! The one in was probably worse though as I got hit whilst on the bike. I didn't come off, and I and the bike were not injured at all, but there was choice words said to the driver before zooming off. Idiot.

The good thing about last night is that my new waterproof trousers lived up to their name! My jumper, tshirt and vest however were soaked to the bone. Great.

Hopefully today will be a little calmer on the roads.

TKM - well I'm not paying him if he didn't do the job properly

Meh, man flu and long day of meetings means no fun today

Good sleep and the man flu has disappeared, but the weather looked so shyte that I decided not to get back on the bike today. Will go for a run tonight to compensate as I'm feeling guilty now.

Good day you flu ridden assasination surviving weird uns,

All is quiet here, picked up some ply board to cover up the window and door holes on the project when the weather is bad and had a dumpthat has taken me to a higher level of consciousness!

Off out to potter around now as the mrs looks like she has some crappy jobs that I don't want to do!

Mostly I sit here and ponder what the difference is between this thread and the individual daily ones ? .... I think they are both above my head !

If this is over your head I'd worry, or lower the tone. The daily ones are in the road section this one is for mucky types. Used to be daily ones over here, this is where they started.

The bugger came back yesterday morning but missed! You're clearly not paying them enough!

You really need to get out more if that's all you ponder!

    Wednesday

    Morning Losers!

Todays mission is to survive the return of retard minion after his 2 days off, and get home asap. I have to collect a parcel from the sorting office (it gets sent back if I don't get it today) and then over to Bradford to see a woman about some kittens.

Today is working from home to let various workmen in and then off for a meeting in Birmingham

    Later is not the pub

Pah, had to go into work for half a day this morning to attend meetings then go home and dial into....more meetings. Have to decipher the govt autumn statement at some point as well. Then maybe go for a run to blow away the cobwebs.

Roll on Thursday, which is the new Friday - and involves beer :)

    Afternoon dingleberries,
In the office this morning and quite busy so went well over my allotted hours. Off to take the girl to physio shortly which is always a pleasure and never a chore. Amazing how a petite little physio can strike terror into the heart of grown men. Pub later as it's Wednesday.

    Afternoon tartlets,

Bit late to the fray as had a power outage for a couple of hours. So I've been building stuff without power tools which was a bit boring!
Got a variety of pig related foods for scoff this evening which is pleasing, there could be a small beer involved as well.

    Morning Losers!

I placed a deposit on a kitten last night, not as in I took a shart on a kitten, but paid a tenner towards it. Picking it up on Christmas Eve.

Today, there's something weird going on in my guts. I may use this as an excuse to leave work early

    TKM - paying for pussy?

Today is a few meetings that will run on, so what should be and he and a half commute will extend far too much

Later is unplanned, but I imagine moving stuff around as we set up the new dinning room table

    Morning crazy cat people,

Lovely warm day here so outside battling the gods of motivation today.

Compost heap to build and chucking mortar into gaps in stone work will figure highly.

In a round about way, I suppose I am!

    It's Fridayyyyyy!

    Morning Losers!

It's been a long week, so I'm glad it's coming to an end. I've packed my bag and just have to throw in a few essentials before chucking it all in the car. I have to take some recording equipment from work as I've been asked to do some this weekend, so straight over to Bury with the 'borrowed' stuff.

Tonight me and my mates are going out for our pre-advent Christmas night out (we're all too busy in in December) so we're off for Vietnemese then some drinks.

This weekend is a busy one. Football, surprise birthday party, recordings and much more!

    Yeah Friday

House stuff worked yesterday, when sparkie, plumber, builder and furniture delivery all turned up - so we now have two bathrooms and a dinning room done - lets just not talk about the rest of the house

Today is working from home to catch up, with later being the pub obviously - though really we should do prep for the eldest rugrats birthday

    Morning all,
Back in the office for the day and sorting through mountains of shite, or at least I should be. Clear desk policy that has been talked about for the last couple of months is coming into effect next week, this is a major pain in the aris. The smoking and vaping policy also comes into effect which is good as it will stop the twunts leaning against my bike and making the bike racks smell like a sweet factory. Hoping to make it to the pub with the Mrs on the way home tonight.

  • Dingibongkong. FML. I gotta write this down somewhere. There's a 10 speed Shimano chain on 70% sale at a local store. So without hesitation, I sprintwalked down there to buy them all up. First disappointment - they've only got three left. Second disappointment, they're four links shorter than I need. Oh, and I bought a laptop on my way back.

I'm knackered. Woke up early due to the large amount of grog consumed last night then had a busy day seeing off the two outgoing minions. Now being exceptionally lazy, but no booze involved tonight.
