    Morning all,
Bit tired after the weekend. Delivered the boy for his work experience last night. He rang to say he'd had a look around the works, to say he was excited would be an understatement. I'm more than a bit jealous to be honest. Not much going on around here I hope, I could do with a rest to be honest.

Has he had a look around Brackley? That'd wipe the smile off his face!

Well TV has been non stop tennis this morning. Not a single mention of Danny Harts triumphant win.

    Morning Mongs,

Slightly achy legs today from doing 2 trails back to back.. needed to eat more but getting the fitness up steadily. should be better next time.

Watched Danny take his win on the weekend, that was good its been long overdue to pull it out the bag, on the best bike too of course ;)

Today is mostly doing as little work as possible while waiting to be unemployed in 3 weeks!!

Rachel won as well, UK dominating a sport isn't news worthy unless there's balls involved I guess.

Update: I took the bike and arrived at work soaked in sweat rather than rain or road spray, not sure what's worse but I'm glad I took the bike. Might not be saying that at home time though.

I don't think it would take long to look around. Certainly not much to do in the evenings, slightly concerned that the pub he's staying in forget he's only 17, but I'm sure a pub up the road will serve him.

    Afternoon gimps,

Off for my bimonthly haircut. As per usual, I need a haircut after a month, so put it off for another month from there.

Missus is treating me to lunch before she goes to work so I'll be sorting out my old car ready to drop at the garage tomorrow. Just need it in good enough condition to sell as it's just had new gearbox/clutch/dmf and don't want to spend any more on it!

    After that, probably rum.

Pedalled in, on the train back. Will retrieve bike tomorrow evening.

Stropteen is off to Slovakia on a concerttour for 8 days tomorrow so peace will reign for a while. His got to get past the inevitable last minute panics packing this evening

    Tuesday

    Morning Losers!

Yesterday was quiet in work, as in deathly quiet! It was nice, but soon got boring. Today I need to find things to do. I might take a book in...

After work, I really should do some kind of exercise.

Later might be the pain cave and the rollers or painting, prefer the first option

    Moaning all,
Slightly quieter start to the day for me, mercifully. Had a call from the boy last night, he was still buzzing. I was hoping he would be a bit enthused about things and that he definitely was. May have been helped by the fact that he didn't have to spend the evening in Brackley. Going to take the girl into school later, might havea kip after that if the punters will leave me alone. Onwards and upwards...

Today may also include a visit to the swimming pool as it's quite warm!

    Evening twerp,

Had a bit of a lie in and worked from home this morning. The afternoon was quiet as well. Got two meetings tomorrow out of the office so that means free brekkie and lunch...just as well I pedalled today!

    Wednesday

    Morning Losers!

Yesterday I had a meeting with my new boss and it all went well. Should be a relatively painless process moving over to be managed by him. He's already been a person I've had to work closely with, so nothing much will change now.

Today, more boringness. There's plenty for me to be doing, I just really cba.

Tonight I'm over to Bury to watch a concert.

    Afternoon Pokamongs,

After a day off I'm back at work. Still haven't done any yet but at least I'm here drinking tea, eating biscuits and falling asleep.

    Closer to the w.end!

Blooming plumbers and sparkies have munked up something so the circuit with the garage door won't open - had to do it manually to get the wife's car out :(

Today is a long day of meetings followed by Unknown but probably not the pub :(

    Morning Losers!

My morning is being disrupted by my friend in America that is chatting with me online, as it's just 12:30 where she is. She normally can't wake up before 8am, so she's finding it hilarious that she's getting to talk with me as I eat my breakfast!

Today is a day of a H&S meeting..... Kill me now.

Unless she's a friend with benefits I'd tell her to fark off and have a lie in.

Now in the dentists waiting room waiting for some discomfort and expense....followed by work. Wonderful. Idiot sales people are giving us deals to review that they know are in breach of policy and trying to make it look like our fault when we tell them they can't do it like that. Tw@ts.

I don't understand how people are allowed to do that. A friend of mine that worked implementing scheduling software used to suffer with sales staff promising stuff they couldn't deliver. If I was in breach of policy or made false promises I'd lose my job, do these idiots not realise how unprofessional it makes them and then their company look?
    Anyway, morning dingleberries.
I've just had a large chocolate éclair as it's someone's birthday here as well.
I'm off to Bicester to see a prospective customer and make lots of false promises I can't deliver on shortly. Should get back in time to run away on time at least. Should get fed on the company at least.
    onwards and upwards...

    Morning,

Early start today for some reason, clocked in before half 9, bit of a record for me. Serial killer minion has been trying to fix a laptop for three days. Asked him yesterday what the problem was then told him how to fix it. He's spent an hour on Dell chat this morning about it so I fixed it for him in about 20 seconds. That's why they pay me the big bucks. I mostly do fark all but when I do something I either look awesome or fark it up monumentally.

Well, that's my one job of the day completed. The rest of the day will be spent drinking tea and eating biscuits.

She is 8) I can't have a lie in though as I get up at this time for work

    Friday!

    Morning Losers!

It's been a boring week at work, however I've loved it. Not doing much has made me feel quite relaxed and actually put me in the mood to do a few things. Whether I'll do them, well, we'll see.

Over to Bury for the weekend later, so normal proceedings shall commence.

    Good morning tards,

Today will be spent job hunting and as I have some free time, making pizzas and probably some cookies. I shall then spend a good portion of the weekend riding bikes and eating those cookies whilst the other half goes out to work.

I'll send her photos of that, she'll love it.

They aren't that stupid - they pass it to us as a proposal saying the customer wants the deal structured like that (so not actually in breach of policy), but knowing full well we will say no. They should have the bloody spine to say so themselves to the customer but instead they don't and then can say 'tax said no' when they are making excuses about not hitting targets
