Bosses were out today and I had naff all meetings so not a bad day at the office. Even the minions were behaving themselves - wierd. Now supping a beer and sorting a few things out for tomorrows communt into work as my kit hasn't dried out yet from the drenching I got the other day.

    Thursday

    Morning Losers!

Well yesterday was crunch day, where I find out who my new boss will be. You know when you it's a case of, out of all the possible outcomes, you just hope it's not one person? Yep, I got him. So today is a day of writing a letter to the directors to see whether or not that decision is set in stone, or whether I can convince him to put me under a different department.

I hate my job even more now.

    Morning girls

Not much going on over here today, i'm sure that will change once management catches me loafing. Pigs to feed, pool to maintain and some gardening possibly!

Football on tv tonight, are England still in?

    Morning sadacts,

Day 1 of unemployment. Need to pop in to work to say my goodbyes (and fetch my car as had a fair bit of wine and gin last night.)

After that, I guess I'll just do standard unemployed kinda stuff - a bit of Jeremy Kyle and a wankinduced coma.

    Tara a bit

    Afternoon,
So far I have managed to avoid doing any work today, that trend will continue this afternoon as I get some lunch then continue to do nothing before heading home early.

I think TLW started on the sauce early by the looks of things. His Mrs is going to be in for a good night, he'll be face down in some posh nosh before long leaving her to be chatted up by the Italian waiter.
I have to stop at a card shop on the way home as it's our anniversary tomorrow, the pound shop didn't have anything worth buying so the hunt continues. It'll be 21 years tomorrow, 21 glorious years she's had in my company. Good job she realises how lucky she is.
Been busy at work today which seems to be bucking the trend somewhat.

    'sup bitches.

Day off today. Got fitted for new TT bike, got bike fit checked for new race bike, considered whether I need another mountain bike after I saw an Orange 5 going cheap (that's right, I said it, I was tempted by an Orange 5) and went on a smash smash road ride up around a mate's local routes because he's ill and can't ride so I thought it would piss him off.

This evening will involve the pub before the journey back to the Brexit Beacons tomorrow.

That reminds me, it's our anniversary the weekend after next. Best pop into the petrol station to avoid last minute panics.

This week is actually turning out quite good on the work front, shock. Anyway, footy on soon and dinner served shortly.

It would be hilarious if it turned out the new boss was actually completely different online!

    Friday

    Morning Losers!

TFI Friday! Well I sent a huge email off to the directors yesterday morning, and then basically did nothing whilst waiting for a response. When I went out for my dinner, I walked past the director I sent the email too and he said "Thanks very much for the email! I haven't responded yet, but I will when I can". I'm taking this as "Thanks, but no thanks". Grrr

Today I will continue to tidy the area around my desk, as it's looking quite good now and that seems to be shocking people.

    Morning fools,

Day 2 of unemployment and the second day in a row that the missus expects her dinner ready when she gets home from work.

Until then, I'll probably just sit around in my pants. I do have a couple of Rebas that need a lowers service so will have to squeeze that into my day somehow.

Onwards to Cheerios (because I'm not allowed to live on bacon apparently!)

    Morning gits,

Up earlyish to clean out the pig sty and moved the trailer near their pen so they can get used to it before they get taken to the abattoir in it! Then it will be bacon o clock forever!

In other news it's supposed to be a slack day but i'll be mixing cement for some footings for a wall we are building later after shopping!

    Morning,

Back to normal today. At least my chair here doesn't leave me feeling like I've been decked when I fall asleep in it.

Found some custard creams to see me though to lunch time so all is good.

    Morning all,
Rather moist out there, got soaked on the way in. Rain probably won't stop for a while yet as we are having a staff bbq with free food and drink today. This does mean no cafe today so I'll have to make up for it at some point. Should be going out for a meal with the Mrs tonight as it's our anniversary. 21 years ago and she hasn't throw me out yet, although it's been close a couple of times.
    Anyway, onwards and upwards.

Reminds me of that episode of the Young Ones where Vyv had a pet pig called 'Bacon Sandwich'.

Quiet-ish day at the office reading BREXIT reports and looking at quarter end numbers. Tonight will involve cider and footy once I've packed for a weekend visit to the parentals.

    saturday

    Yeah

Loads of jobs planned today as various builders and plumbers are planned in the next few weeks - so prep work is needed.

That's the wife's plan anyway, I'm more realistic as we have to drop the kids of at theartre club, pick her car up, choose bathrooms, etc - so that will eat the time up

Then later is a local beer and cider festival :)

    Morning Losers!

A shoot nights sleep and the most random weather imaginable has meant I've had to cancel todays plans. I was meant to be test riding a couple of Suzuki's over in east of Leeds somewhere (well, nearer York), but I'm not really feeling it, and the thought of crashing one of these bikes and instantly losing £250 just isn't appealing to me.

I've got loads to do around the house this morning anyway, and this afternoon, I'm off to York to check out some puppies! :D

Little Miss Dbo has saved enough to buy herself a new rose gold Mac book. So off to Apple Store Leeds. Might try to get into Reds BBQ and eat a burger the size of a cows head. Later beer and a blast out on the Five tomorrow as the weather FC looks okay.

    Morning women,

Pigs seemed relaxed around their trailer yesterday, when they weren't trying to eat it!

Nowt much on the cards today as the mrs thinks i need a break, i'm not really the arguing type so i reckon i'm off back to bed.

Ps i see Britain have made it to the semi finals of Euro 2016!

I'll have a pitmaster sandwich and a beef rib on your way through!

    Morning plebs,

Suddenly my cereal doesn't seem so attractive.

Missus is working 9-9 so I'm gonna play with bikes. Another tough day for sure.

Up North visiting the 'rents. Just sitting in the chippy waiting for them to fry up while my cider chills in the freezer :) Will watch the Euros play footy tonight I think, unless there's a good film on.

    Evening all,
The traditional slow start was interrupted when the EPO realised the leaving do we were supposed to be at in Gloucester didn't start at 3, it finished at 3. So had to tell the boy to get back from whichever hole he'd slept in and then battled traffic on the M4. Only a couple of family arguments then a drive back. Now chilling with a beer. Toy cricket tomorrow.

    Sunday

    Morning Losers!

Well yesterdays puppy hunting shenanigans went well and my friend placed a deposit for a Schnauzer/Jack Russell cross. I think I was more interested in the farm that we went to, I'd love to own one one day!

So today, back over to Bury for the usual happenings. That's about it.

So you've go for a docile, low maintenance breed? :)

Morning Mongs, more jobs at the 'rents place before headed back down the A1 ready for a week on the corporate hamster wheel. Roll on the holidays...

    Bonjour mincers,

Dropping the girlfriend off at work (someone needs to pay the rent whilst I'm dossing around,) a quick stop at the French market in the village for some fromage et saucisson before a trip to FoD.

She's going out for cocktails after work so I'll have to make sure I have some saucisson ready for when she gets home.

    Au revoir

    Afternoon,
Up half the night with the young un then out for an early ride. I'm done in now.

News from yesterday: looks like I've been roped into supporting/driving for this:
    https://www.facebook.com/Reachforskye/

Glad I'm not riding it. It's a bit much for me that like.
