Don't want someone else eating your pork...

I for one am certainly not adverse to someone putting my pork in their face. (preferably not bg13 though, I prefer them a bit older than 13.)

    Morning,

Feel like I've been poached in my own juices overnight, but worth it for the darker shade of beige after being out in the glorious sunshine yesterday.

Today is talking to a man about a job, dropping the missus at work, then going for ride before the thunderstorms hit.

All things considered sleep was ok last night, obviously helped by nipping to the pub whilst the wife sorted the bbq :)

Today is Solihull based and no ale till later as the eldest is having his leavers party for primary and needs picking up at bloody 8.30!

I must confess I can't say the idea of noshing BG's pork appeals to me. You don't know where he's been.
Bit of a frustrating morning in here, computers have been more than a little difficult. Maybe they don't like the heat. My head hurts and I didn't drink last night so that's no good. Not managed to pedal in at all this week as the lad is working in the whorehouse here and it's rather warm in there so I opted to be nice and give him a lift. I will compensate for this by going for a pub wobble tonight, lots of beer to stay hydrated of course. Got to take the girl to physio tomorrow morning so will pedal in after that.

Drove into work enjoying ice cold air con. Now sweating on a train on the way home but at least I had some cider earlier to cool me off :)

Stropteen returns home tonight but not till gone midnight so I will be a bit tired in the morning. Mind you, I'm off to Wales tomorrow - BPW Friday and Gawton Saturday. 2 day gravity double header 8)

    Evening pork sword swallowers,

Got the pigs into the trailer ok, got to their 'new holiday home!' They just wouldn't come out, abattoir bloke tried a cattle prod and one of the pigs turned on him and bit him! How we all laughed! Eventually some chap with a big plastic board got all mediaeval on them and the n to hey went. Hopefully collect the chopped up meat on fryday afternoon.

More piglets on order for just over two months time to continue the cycle.

    Toodles.

I have to say bg13, you're living my dream, I'd love to be a farmer!

    Morning Losers!

Slept well again last night, maybe my body actually prefers the warmer temperatures! Maybe I should move to Qatar...

Today is more of the same. I have a meeting with my current boss to go over things that she does that I need to continue, and hopefully push my job a bit more to get a raise out of it (it won't).
After work, I have no plans. Again. Maybe I'll shave my head if I cba.

    Moaning,

First day in ages that we don't have pigs to feed, mrs13 is taking their departure quite badly at the moment, i imagine once she gets some pork inside her she'll be ok!

Today is tidy bits of the garden where the pigs were, dona tip run, sort some admin and watch the roofers put the roof on the renovation.

I take it you offered to help with that.
Feeling a little shabby this morning after the cycling pub crawl last night, thankfully almost fully recovered now. Slow start to take the female child to physio this morning followed by a warm ride to work. Warm ride home to be had shortly followed by the old man coming over for a bbq this evening. The old dear has gone to Spain without him so we are going to feed him to make sure he doesn't waste away. Fryday tomorrow, finally.

    Friday!!

TFI Friday! This week has gone a little quicker, which is good. My dog-walking friend comes home on Monday, so I've looking forward to that for a couple of weeks now.
Today, I have a few things to do, but I am still suffering the CBA's. I know I need to do it though, as I have plenty of time, and if I leave it, I'll be stressed and rushed. Ah well.

    Morning all,
Tanks fark it's Fryday! Last one in work for a few weeks as we go on holiday next Friday, I'm rather looking forward to that I must say. Today I will be eating lots of dead piggy, the boy will be joining us in the cafe as he has been working in the warehouse this week. It always makes the others laugh as that boy can eat, unfortunately I'll be paying for it. Later may involve a trip to the pub.

    Morning all,

This time next week will be my last day in work.. all exciting if a little scary!

Got out round Cafal at Cwm Carn last night, not totally unfit at the moment, but that trail seems to beat me up, love it though. tonight back to my olds to pick a 1996 Marin bear valley se to tidy up tomorrow should be fun.

    Morning freaks

Pig meat day means travelling to the butchers and collecting nearly 200kgs of home grown pork! The lows of having them slaughtered will soon be countered! This meat is supposed to last a while with some being sold to friends, i give it a few weeks.

In other news the temperature has been hanging around the 30's for a while now, so glad we have a swimming pool.

    Monring Workers.

Day off today with Little Miss Dbo. Heading over to Hedben Bridge to do a little route up and around Stoodley Pike. Not riden over there (crazy as it's only 20 mins from home) Not sure I'm looking forward to the climb up out of Hebden.

Recovery beer will be needed later.

    Afternoon,
Last day of term here so just had a good feed and all I had to do for it was sit through some leaving speeches for/from people I've never met.
Got 6 weeks peace from staff and students to look forward to but there will be work to be done, I'll be avoiding it as much as possible though. May even claim to be at other sites and just spend a day or two riding my bike instead.

Two hour climb up to the pike. Very dissapointed in the route back down, no way was it worth the effort. I hate not knowing the best routes.

Up early for a ride at FoD before it gets busy then heading to the Gloucester food and drink festival so the evening will be spent enjoying those wares.

    Morning,
Some village picnic going on today. Weather looks good and it should entertain the small one. Should be an easy day.

I've done that climb and it's a beeatch! I went with locals that knew the area though, and they took me down a decent path too, problem is, I couldn't even begin to remember where it went so can't help there.

    Morning Losers!

Lovely day here in da Hudd, so I'm just eating some healthy breakfast (frosties and a banana) and then going to head out on a bike for a little while. Figured I'd slowly build my strength and stamina back up rather than jump in at the deep end.

After that, a bit of tidying, betting, eBaying and general chillaxing.

    Hola tards,

Made it about 20 meters from the car park before I heard a crunch and my chain snapped. Fine, got a new link in the car. Got back to the car, removed damages link, spent 10 minutes desperately trying to find the bloody link I'd put down somewhere. Id stepped on it and the packet had stuck to my sole.

Chain repaired, set off, more noise when changing gear. Mech hanger insert had come loose so was moving, screwed it back in. Set off, now gears not shifting properly, tried to adjust, no improvement. Ride abandoned.

In brighter news, just won a set of official VW roof bars for the car on eBay for £25, cost £285 new!

Time for the pub I think

    Evening vermin,

Been full on today processing the bits of pig that we got back from the butchers, over 10 kgs of bacon to cure, slice and scoff.......GTFI! Just sorting the first load of black pudding and living in hope that the freezers don't conk out or we'll have to eat the lot rapidly!

In other news, we managed an hour in the pool while the black pudding cooked........cheers easy.

bg - I'm so jealous of you! I need to become a farmer! It's a genuine dream of mine!

    Morning Losers!

Managed to get several things up on eBay yesterday including some old Pikes I've had lying around for too many years. Not sure I'll make much money from anything, but I need every penny at the moment.

Typical Sunday for me I suppose, I'm running a bit behind though so better get to it.
