Been mainly driving today or that's what it feels like. Unfortunately its nearly as shyte down here as it was up North. Just watching MOTD until I have to do a spot of Dads taxi work. The joys...

Just realised I haven't had anything to drink since Friday night  I promise I'll make up for it this week. Sun went down extra early today - that means it's winter so 'd better start planning my skiing holiday to cheer myself up.

    Morning bumders

Much snow spotted on the top of the mountains out here the past couple of days. As long as it stays up there I’ll be happy.

Today will involve uni meh followed by vet meh. Possibly with a bike ride at lunch time as it’s set to be a busy weekend so better get some exercise in beforehand.

    Morning, worms.

    Greetings from Heathrow T5.
Breakfast has been scoffed so now it’s time for boozes.

A good weekend was had. Big family get together for lunch on Saturday in a country pub followed by my sisters and their families descending on Chateau JBA for tea.
Yesterday was housework and packing meh in the day and a Public Service Broadcasting gig last night, which was excellent.

    Have a fun week, fools.

Have a good un JBA, not flying in a 737 or a helicopter are you?

    Afternoon adult nappy wearers,

Been phoning around sorting utility companies out for the mother, telling them all she wants paper billing as she doesn't do webbo stuff! More of the same this afternoon! Not helped by the slight headache I'm packing.

Hoping the solicitor doesn't mind my small addition to the old boys will, I've crossed out my brothers names and wrote that 'those cnuts don't deserve owt!' On it! It'll all be mine......mine i tell you!

Ho hum, back to the phone!

    Evening boozypedallers,
First day of new job, fairly quiet which is good. Major catastrophe hit this afternoon, baskets of fruit were delivered and we were told cake day has been replaced with fruit day. When I find who is responsible they may find a pineapple inserted where the sun don’t shine.
Off to see the old dear shortly as she’s off to Italy for a fortnight.

ACOAD - just finished off something because the boss is being a picky tw@t over something that nobody will read anyway. Asked me why I was over budget so far this year. My reply - remember that promotion you gave me earlier this year, then pulled it at the last minute and had to give me a rise and a bonus to stop me walking out the door? That's why...FFS

You should have been providing monthly variance analyses which would have explained the budget issue. I would remediate by debiting the accrued bonus account.

    Perhaps you should be fired.

That as well. I'm not too bad at multi tasking for a bloke.

Another busy day but good outcome as I survived my half year presentation to the board. A drink has been earned...

Working from home has meant a slight lie in and a run with the hound in the almost light

Later is trick and treat stuff with the rug rats

    Afternoon fruitcakes,
Still busy at work, don't actually mind it as it's busy with less of the being pestered with silly questions. Getting settled in fairly easily so far.
Think I'm in danger of drying out so will probably visit a pub as it's Wednesday, obviously supporting a local business is a good thing to do.
Good luck with the blah bg, I've still got a lot of it to deal with. Mainly because I've been avoiding it.
Bird seems to be actually doing something useful, I'm worried about him.
    Onwards, to mediocrity...

Hound at the ready to repel anyone who comes round trick or treating. Bah humbug.

Busy day with a repeat performance tomorrow.

I’ve seen a picture of your dog, not exactly the scariest dog in the world (says the man whose dog just gets excited when friends just walk into the house)

Working locally as the car is in the dealers for a recall, so slow start involving a run with the hound

Later is ale as today is my Friday

He nearly managed to floor the 5 yo girl that came round trick or treating last night. I think we should have a 'crap guard dog of the year' contest as mine is just as bad when anybody visits.

Tomorrow's Friday so you should go down the pub. Actually why not go tonight and warm up for Friday (I'm trying to think like TLW).

    Apparently it's Fryday,

Miserable sis in law is continually grinding my gears over certain recent events! Unfortunately she's a bit of a size so don't fancy taking on digging a ditch that the w1tch would fit in! Any recommendations for a solution would be appreciated.

Anyhow, possibility of beer and curry later so that'll help.

Tell her to go swim off the coast of Norway or Japan. Thar she blows!

Chilly ride in - it woke me up a bit. Unfortunately Stroteen has started driving lessons so Strifey is hassling me to buy her a car. Think I may need to procrastinate a bit. Tonight is cider time - the thought should get me through the rest of this afternoon.

    Evening rubberneckers,

A good evening was has yesterday when I went to my neighbors brewery - he owns a share in a micro brewery in SE London that does some very good beer and some good tramp fuel cider as well. Glad we get on well :) Now feeling a bit lazy and trying to forget that tomorrow is Monday.

    Evening ends of the bell,
Reasonably quiet weekend was a welcome break. Boy is back for a few days so just been for a beer with him. Left him to it as there were a few of his mates there and a few girls were throwing themselves at him. Oh to be young again.

    Watcha, you worthless worms.
Had a cracking week in New York, only marred by Small and Shouty taking a tumble ice skating and fracturing her elbow on Thursday. On the bright side it got us priority boarding for the flight home.

Back to work today and fed up already. Whenever I have been on holiday I return to work with the faint hope that something will have improved or changed for the better but it never has. Bah!

Out again tonight for another family based social where i shall again be driving the old dear! Might chance a beer when i get home!
