I haven't started posting in the roadie section yet!

    Morning working types,

Slight flurry of snow this morning, fortunately it's now turning into the standard rain!

Out mucking about with petrol based gardening implements today and cinema for that Winston Churchill film this afternoon.

    Morning, finger puppets.

The snow has mostly melted so I had to come to work again. Bah!

Today's highlight is a 'catch-up' call with my Manager. He is based at a different site and has very little understanding of what I do so the call will be frustrating, boring and ultimately a waste of time. Double bah!

To brighten the day up I may wander to the local Pastry-based Product Emporium at lunch time and treat myself to some stodge.

    Morning fistees,
A fairly dull day here, plenty to do I just don't fancy doing it. Might go for a walk down the road in search of scoff, will have to wrap up like Scott of the Antarctic to do so of course. Later I'm taking the Mrs to the movies, I even offered to pay for the comfy seats.

    Good comeback bg.

Busyish day on the corporate hamster wheel. Had to spend some time mopping up last weeks mess although the minions had done most of it as I was off on Friday. Homeward to plonk...

Evening altar boys, bit of rotavating this morning and a trip to Poitiers this afternoon to pick up a bath, it's all go here!

Just had fish and chips and some wine is now getting the good news though it's a bit ropey so some lemonade has gone into it to help the situation.

    Toodles.

    Evening Rubberrneckers,

Had the joys of an all day meeting at work so decided to treat myself to a couple of pints before headed home. Is it only Tuesday?

    Ooh. Wine shandy.

    Watcha, you limp-wristed bunch.

Easy day today consisted of a short stint in work followed by a quick 10 mile bike ride.

Now about to take my son out for the first time on L plates! Worried? Me? No!

I'll be doing that with my daughter later this year

Evening Gits, it's extra Dads taxi duty tonight which is really boring and I get zero thanks. Roll on tomorrow...

 Good luck with that. Also got that with the female child later this year, man child will be 20 by then so as insuring him gets cheaper we will cripple ourselves by sticking her on it. He will also have to share the Mini with her which will be a bit of a wrench. Mind you he'll be off at uni for most of the time so hopefully not too bad. Insurance prices for him went £1600 to £600 and now to £400 so no idea what it will be with two of them. Mind you the daughter said she'd rather have a motorbike.

Anyway, traditional Thursday morning hangover is in place. Today will mostly consist of pretending to work whilst investigating party wall stuff and talking to a couple of party wall surveyors in the hope of finding one that is crossed with a rottweiler. Neighbours have been told to do one whilst we get some advice.
Tomorrow night is drinking and listening to loud music with some reprobate dressed as an accountant.

    Morning, lady gardeners.

I survived the best attempts of junior to frighten me. Actually he did really well. A bit fast approaching some T junctions that caused a few squeaky bum moments, but otherwise all fine.
Now need to consider buying a car for him. Can't put him on my car as it is a company vehicle and the insurance won't allow anyone under 25 to drive and SWMBO's car is a 2 litre so it will cost a fortune to add him to her insurance after he passes his test.

We bought an old Mini 1000 for ours, but I work with old cars so it's easier for me than for most. One of my customers looked in to insurance and teenagers and found the cheapest car to buy and run was a Peugeot 106 Diesel, that was about 4/5 years ago though.

Sure you got that the right way around? :)

Busy day again - trying to be patient with people but its so difficult. At least the kitchen is finished and Stropteens maths tutoring has started after she had a minor meltdown of GCSE revision. We may also be making progress on dealing with the chavvy bedsit that sprung up next door so not a bad day overall.

    Evening dikwads,

Been sanding wooden beams today, now that is how you have a good time, only completed four and a half, got six more to do. It got so bad i had to sack it off and get the tractor out for some more mowing.

    Foods inbound and possible boozes.

    Morning walkers and wood polishers,
A dull Fryday in the office is under way but it will be broken up with a visit to the cafe to consume my bodyweight in pork based products to line my stomach for the beer that will be consumed later. As I have an early start tomorrow maybe I should stay off the sauce.
I'm guessing Bird means he's walking on a hill, how do you wake up a hill? Unless he's going to disturb a dormant volcano. Bg is just jealous he has to go solo. This place is full of walkers.

    He’s got a splinter

It's a farking huge splinter, just ask Gts mum!

Afternoon hill wakers and assorted walkers,

No polishing my wood today as i need a quiet day, tomorrow i have a day on the mixer while a chum sorts a wall for me.

Haven't seen any reports on the news of dead hookers around the Lahndan area so assume that no crudders met up!

I've started on the stodge already to prep for this evening. As an added win, Mrs 666 said she didn't want me rolling half p1ssed gone midnight so I'm staying up in town tonight :)

No waking up hills today. Much time riding bikes. GF is being stroppy so I’m off to the pub. Sorted.

    Pubs are good.
Hangover is long gone, but I have had a fair bit of beer to chase it off, tomorrow may be difficult.
Went to the Ferrari exhibition at the design museum after a fry up in the Regency cafe. Got stuck in a pub for a few hours somehow. Now heading home and hoping I don’t fall asleep.
