That was a bit late. Doing overtime at work?
Lord no! Just got too comfortable on the couch.
Mild hangover has passed after a busy day at work. Now lounging for all I’m worth. Watching a TOTP from 1985, most of it is utterly dreadful. Janice Long just said she had David Cassidy on her bedroom wall, John Peel replied he didn’t think she was so agile.

    Yo, homies!

    TFIF.

Another weekend of rugby, booze and bikes looms ahead and I cannot wait.
Much entertainment on the way to work this morning as a redesigned major intersection just off the M4 was opened. Unfortunately the signage is rubbish resulting in about 40% of drivers missing the exit for the M4 East and heading off along the A48 towards Cardiff. Such japes.

    Evening Rubberneckers,

Just tucking into some wine while sorting out recruiting a replacement for myself - a bit weird I suppose. Hopefully I won't get too pissed and forget to do my physio exercise later :)

Today involved riding bikes and making burgers, bacon was eaten for breakfast and beer was consumed, could it get any better?

Bit of a weird day, possibility of afternoon in the pub with the Wednesday night lot as a send off for one of our number didn’t materialise as he wasn’t well enough. Put a fair downer on the day though. Stopped for a few on the way home with the rest of them all the same. Now watching the Last Leg.

    Yeah Saturday

Downer in the local last night when we found out the neighbour had passed away whilst on a cruise to Australia :(

Today is a bike ride, followed by dad's taxi then rugby and pub or rugby followed by pub

Jobs, footy, shopping, footy, jobs, slap up birthday dinner :)

Got behind the wheel for the first time in 3 weeks today so feeling quite pleased about that. May do a second lot of physio exercises as it seems to be working. Will also help get the appetite going for tonight's Thai banquet 8)

You'll never pass Norman Tebbitts cricket test bg.

Lazy birthday today so not much different from a normal Sunday. Dog walk was cold but sunny and the hound is now basking in the sun by the patio window while I sup coffee and get ready for so e more physio exercises.

Returns from one of the most boring google searches ever!

England first but the French are playing the Scotch so I'd like to see the sweaties play like they did against the welsh!

The Sweaties or the French, not sure who I like to see lose the most.

    Evening muck spreaders,
Traditional Sunday has been had with lazing, a bit of a walk and some scoff. I did open the garage and look at the bike, it’s still there and the tyres had some air in them so that’s good enough for me.

Morning, wage slaves and retired bathplugs.

Had a great weekend once the boiler was fixed on Saturday. By crikey it was cold in our house on Friday!

Rugby, booze and foods featured prominently on Saturday and Sunday and it was all very enjoyable, apart obviously from England's hollow victory.

Yesterday morning I not only looked at my bike, I also rode it. I know: I have let you all down and for that I can only apologise.

Skilful, well deserved English victories aside  , back to the grindstone. Doing a bit of overtime to get ahead of the game this week as I'm out tomorrow with a BR character of dubious character :)

    Evening girls,

Stuff has occurred today, it's been sunny and warm so not too bad a day. Got some wood for the reno project and did a tip run, now that is how you have fun!

Dubious character? Obviously not me then. At least I don’t think it is unless I’ve forgotten something.
Fairly dull day in the office bookended by reasonable rides in daylight. So much nicer riding in daylight. Later start tomorrow as I’m out for beer and curry straight after work, will leave the treader there as I’m being driven. Free beer, curry and a lift home, excellent. Shame work will be discussed.

    Evening bumders,

According to the locals that was a very short weekend we've had, apparently Sunday never happened and rugby is very much a taboo subject.

Today involved cow meh and sheep meh. Tomorrow will involve more cow meh and tedious paperwork.

It was chucking it down and blowing a gale when I came in to work this morning. It is now calm with bright blue skies.
I am anticipating the rain and wind will return 5 minutes before knocking off time this afternoon.

In other non-weather related news, work is meh and I am soooo bored. However, as that wannabe frog bg13 has pointed out, there will be pancakes later so all is not lost.

Did my tossing last night as I'm out for beer and curry paid for by work tonight. This means leaving my bike here and driving in tomorrow, thankfully half term so traffic is light.
just been in a meeting about oils for the last hour and a half, I did really well not to fall asleep I reckon. I did eat a couple of cakes just to keep my interest levels up. The curry tonight is with our oil blender so the conversation may not be the most exciting, still, at least it won't be about tax accountancy.
