Long day of work meh that didn't finish when I left the building, therefore missed the pub with a pal :(

Got a feeling this is today too

Made it to the pub, so all was good
Bet the publican was relieved too. Bar takings up 50% :)

I'm out for a few drinks shortly - got a promotion offer I that can't refuse and will shortly move up tax dodging on a global scale  . Plus more minions etc, which can't be bad even if their English isn't very good. i also did a bit of work today...

    Well done, Stevo.

We received proposed changes to our T’s & C’s in work today. We will be able to work half an hour less a week and have 5 more days annual leave but have to take a pay cut to pay for it and possibly go on the clock. They can fark off.

    It's only bloomin' Fryday!

Just the day at the coal face to get through then it's a weekend of rugby and liver abuse for me.
Dragons v Worcester this evening and then the start of the 6 Nations tomorrow. Bring it on.

    Thanks JBA.

Did a bit of work today, though was feeling a little tired after last nights booze session. I decided the new job offer could domwith improving a bit so Ive asked for more money. The worst they can do is tell me to 'fick erf' as they say in France.

Home now and have some plonk chilling in the fridge :)

Cheers bg, one out of two isn't bad...

Not done too much today apart from a bit of work, shops and haircut. Just waiting for Stropteen to get back from her 6th form entrance test - hopefully she's Ian good mood and not too stroppy. At least it's take away night tonight :)

Take away seems like a good idea. I’m sat upstairs watching the rugby at the moment, France are not looking great. I’m sure bg won’t point this out to them. Mind you Ireland should be doing better. Smell of pecan muffins wafting up from the kitchen is making me hungry. If this game doesn’t pick up I may go down to investigate the source of the smell.

    Good day worms,

My rugby review so far, Scotch, promised loads from the autumn internationals, looked like they'd never played together before. The cave dwellers finished well, their little hobbit type full back actually scored tries and kicked goals, but with that support behind you they were unlikely to lose.
Obvs wanted the Frogs to win but glad they didn't after their 'Head Injury Assessment' cheating moment, but good to see some French flair again albeit a brief flurry. The micks were strong but struggled finishing which bodes well.

The games were washed down with a nice Seigneur de Berticot, cotes de Duras. €4.33 from Super U!

Today i have cleared up,loads of tree that got chopped down last weekend and obviously I'll be watching the English get bewildered by those crafty Italians, I also predict at least a yellow for Dylan Hartley should he be playing.

    Toodles.

What's wrong with footy bg? All this interest in men playing with odd shaped balls is a bit worrying :)

Not much doing today, got a few jobs done and may do a bit of work later  Got to finish off my negotiations with the big cheese over my new job offer. Will see if he agrees to my cheeky punt at getting even more money.

Stevo, give us some if they agree to give you more!

Anyhoo, I played rugby for many years and also a bit of pub football but there is so much more national pride involved in the Rugby. Plus i support the Cobblers so can't comment on real football.

Game today was a belter, England were strong but the Italians were resilient, unfortunately the score got away from them in the last twenty. And on the plus side no yellow or red card for Dylan!

Come in V68 give us the opposition point of view.

No point giving money to you Froggies, the govt will only confiscate it. That's if HM Revenue and robbing bar stewards don't nick it off me first!

    Morning, window lickers.
Back to the daily grind after a great weekend of booze, bikes and rugby.

Time for this slacker to start looking for summer holidays. No skiing this year so extra cash available for the summer. 8) Thinking Florida so we can 'do' the parks before the children get too old and the idea of a holiday with embarrassing parents fills them with dread and hatred.

Sorry, fail on my part. Was out for most of the day so recorded it and then heard the result before I got home. Had a brief look at some highlights, Italy had a few moments but the result was hardly unexpected. Hopefully Italy will get at least one decent win. I got a bit bored in the France Ireland match and went off for food at half time, luckily turned it on again and caught the last few minutes which was the only exciting bit by all accounts. Will be in a pub with my mate Taff for the England Wales match.
Quiet day in the orifice today, computer system is down so twiddling my thumbs is the order of the day. I'm drowning in tea already so need to find cake to soak it up.

I'm sure I posted on here on the train home last night - I blame cider and a dodgy phone.

Spent part of the morning pinning down my new job with the big cheese in head office, so now have to do some real work - once I've stuffed my face :)

    Afternoon shipdits,
Been reasonably busy today as the computers have actually been working which is unfortunate, still struggling to sort out all the knock on screw ups it caused though. Bloody cold out today so I'm going out for beer and curry later to help me keep warm.

    Hola gits,

Plenty of diy based shizzle occurring here but I'm not mad for it after kicking my heels around Angouleme for twelve hours yesterday waiting on mates mrs having her broken hand operated on.

In other news there has been snow here today, the sort that shuts schools, roads and train services in the UK but not here, life still goes on.

    Afternoon, special ones.

Working from home this afternoon. The Boy broke his arm yesterday falling off a chair! I am now on nurse duty. This comprises mainly giving him painkillers while he binge watches Peaky Blinders and surfing t'interwebz for tyre bargains.

    Evening felchers,

Longish day at the office doing lots of boring HR type shizzle so I'm glad to be home with a glass of plonk in my hand.

Also started my physio routine for my knackered shoulder which was a bit painful in parts. Had to do the exercises in the disabled bogs at work as I might have got some funny looks in the office otherwise :)

    Evening twerps,

Reyt cold here today but sun broke through so all is good. Not been doing too much productive but did see the link below that is full of naughty words and gestures and their allow ability on main stream TV.

If anyone can explain 'Iberian Slap' to me I'll regard you as a demi god.
