Did my tossing last night as I'm out for beer and curry paid for by work tonight. This means leaving my bike here and driving in tomorrow, thankfully half term so traffic is light.
just been in a meeting about oils for the last hour and a half, I did really well not to fall asleep I reckon. I did eat a couple of cakes just to keep my interest levels up. The curry tonight is with our oil blender so the conversation may not be the most exciting, still, at least it won't be about tax accountancy.

    Afternoon pairs luge rider types,

Been studying some winter olympics, pairs luge is ghey, ice dancing is also ghey but the females are rather tasty and curling is plain boring!

Foods and boozes with chums later though it's a school night so not too much foods!

    Afternoon Wasters,

Skiving off early to dog sit while the other two are out at some school related shizzle. May have to make inroads into my wine supply, although not before I've stopped off at the petrol station to get something for valentines day :)

    Is that your latest sideline?

    Morning cleft cleavers,
Felt like shite yesterday and wound up bailing early and going home to bed, so ill I didn't even make it to the pub and the Mrs didn't cook the special meal she'd got in for Valentine's day. I wasn't so badly organised that I had to stop at a petrol station to buy a card, I made the colleague driving me home stop at Sainsbury's where I spent a whole £1.50 on a bit of folded paper that's only destined for the bin.
Back in the office today, bored so I really should do the back log of work that built up yesterday.

    Morning crafty butchers,

Had foods and boozes with chums last night, it now feels like there wasn't a lot of food involved as the head is banging. Post soirée i checked emails to find one for a reference for a job for my friends nipper, i may have gone a little over the top due to the boozes but if a text box says four hundred words max then that's what it's getting!

In other news I'm off back to bed.

    Morning, sausage lovers.

I am pleased to report that there is a temporary cessation in the precipitation here in The Promised Land. After 48 hours of constant wet it's about time.

Day off tomorrow. This means today is my Friday and therefore boozes will be inbound this evening. I bought SWMBO a bottle of pink gin for Valentines Day (cos I'm a post-modern man, innit) so that will be taking a beating tonight.

Unfortunately they didn't sell shovels and ditches. Had to make do with some cheap flowers with the price tag carefully removed and the receipt thrown away.

Been working at home today on account of trip to 2 lots of pain merchants (physio and dentist). Now trying to do some work - yawn.

I misread that and thought ice dogging was your new hobby.

    Morning rusty sherrifs,
Bit chilly out this morning but still dry at least. Very glad it's Fryday as obviously dead pig will feature heavily in my lunch plans. Later should be pub with the Mrs as I'm told beer is good for curing the plague. Until then I will have to content myself with tea or coffee.

    Morning flatulents,

Doing manly stuff with power tools today, then foods, boozes and quiz night where i shall astound all with my pitiful lack of general knowledge and my thirst for cheap boozes.

I'm really looking forward to my 270 mile drive North this evening - luckily the drink cabinet will be well stocked when I arrive around 1am...then a weekend in the frozen North making sure the house hasn't burnt down etc. At least there's cheap beer and a chippy 100 yards down the road.

    Morning walkers,

No jackpot on the lottery for me last night so my plans for world domination are put on hold! When i say world domination i mean having a digger big enough to dig a big enough hole for all the dead hookers that will need buried.

Anyway, weather here is shyte so it's sitting by the fire until it's time to go and meet pals for foods and boozes.

    Toodles.

Too late. They were all crap anyway or have been on the box loads of times.

Back from the frozen North and got a day off tomorrow. Wahey. Unfortunately I have a jobs list to fill it.

    Morning, purple helmets.

The weekend was full of excitement and disappointment:
A trip to West Wales to visit my dad in hospital was enlivened by 'The Great Quake of 2018'. The tremor was so severe that at one point visible ripples appeared in his glass of water.
Yesterday I witnessed The Dragons play an abysmal game of rugby and lose to Benetton. A shocking display.

Today I am at The Place With Big Planes. This meant a stupidly early start but on the plus side I should be done by lunchtime and will then take a leisurely drive home.

Bzn again Jba? Only ever went there when i was deploying overseas and invariably ended up staying a few nights until they could get the jets to work properly.

Day of runnuing around doing dangerous diy stuff as per usual.

    Afternoon beef curtain munchers,

Had a day off today to get all the stuff done that I never had time for on my Northern odyssey on the weekend just gone. Now perusing car ads and contemplating doing some exercise

Yep. 2 or 3 times a month at the moment. I think most of the aircraft there are broken.

    Hola, ditch diggers.

Back in the office today and the dreaded auditors are here. IT security this time. We are all under instruction to follow all the IT protocols but I suspect I may forget. Oh dear. Never mind.

Last night I went for a little spin along the canal and as well as the usual dog walkers and dope-smoking wasters I had to dodge hordes of toads and newts on the tow path. I am assuming it is the start of the amphibian breeding season and not some sort of apocalyptic plague.
