That's tautology, that is
Don't come here with ya highfalutin' talk."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
@gietvangent0 -
Therabouts 2 was the straw for me - though I did channel him wearing a check flannel shirt over my cycling gear for that hipster fixie look...
It was more that I was trying to keep up with the Pro messengers at the start by employing a wide interpretation to Dutch road laws until I nearly got knocked off...then I stopped
(did OK though, was one of the first of the "normal people", which given that I'm not exactly a local i was quite proud of...)
ES coverage is just kicking off btw and appears to be Kirby freeWe're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Here we go then.

Though looking at the trees, there doesn't seem to be much wind. Front of the peloton is certainly slimmed though.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
Some of them are in full winter gear, Luke Rowe just need arm warmers0
-
Think Porte is in the second group, there's a big gap now. Etixx and Tinkoff are putting work in to stretch it further. Lot of good riders are dropped there.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0

For the GC, yes. But plenty of favourites for the stage are behind as well.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
Porte, Kristoff, and Costa missing the split apparently and.... adverts.
Correction: Porte is in the front group.0 -

What you on about Doc, Slanty Slanty Slanty!
Edit - TV, Kristoff and - surprise surprise - Richie Porte in the second group
Slanty does not make an echelon.
Keep that up and you'll be repatriated.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

Richie Porte in the front. My surprise is temporarily retracted
It's not an echelon until it's a group that's a) slanty b) takes up the full road width and c) ONLY HAS TWO CYCLISTS DEPTH.
You can't get 40 odd riders in an echelon.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
Tell you what, France looks a grim place when the sun isn't out0

we could be doing with gaps to the different groups, they said it was close to coming back together, but they shot from the helicopter, it looked like a good gap0

And we're on the dirt!!!!0
