He'll have decent enough workers at Cannondale, no? van Baarle, Langeveld, Breschel, Bauer, maybe Phinney. It's not Etixx, but that wouldn't be an awful 6.0

Sep is a third of the rider Sagan is.
Then what does it matter what team he's at?0 -

Because Sagan is super-human (in the metaphorical sense, not anything dodgy), but Sep is not and needs a team to help.
Edit: and even then he can't winIt's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -

He's a twit, but my son's middle name is Sagan so I guess I'm now duty bound to defend Twitty Sagan against all comers.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0 -
I'd wager a large amount of money that Vanmarcke will end his career with a superior record in Roubaix to Sagan.0

I'd weep if Sep went to Cannondale... would like him to get a stronger team for that classics, but Cannondale ain't gonna be that...
How about they are both going to Cannondale?0 -

For sure, but Vanmarcke is arguably the best cobbled classics specialist of the post Boonen/Cancellara era.0 -

The biggest fraud in pro cycling since Lance is that Sep has this reputation.
So over rated. Thomas and Stannard have a better cobble record than him, jesus even Kwiatkowski does.0 -

No. Sep's problem is that he's just too strong for his bike. He rides it so hard he breaks it in the last 20km. Every, bloody, time.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
Where is young Tao off to? Haven't seen anything about him moving at all.

In my defence he rode there as stagiaire last season, so I didn't pull it completely out of my arse. Only somewhat so.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0 -

He's got an offer from Sky, but last I heard it hadn't been signed yet. Possibly some Cannondale interest.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

I'm a big fan of Davies but I'd give him another year riding for Team Bradders and getting more experience, first. The team's race programme is decent enough to accommodate that0 -

As RR2 said, he rode for the 2nd half of last year, but that's it.
I've not seen him confirmed as being anywhere for the 2nd half of this year or for next year. I hope he's not off to Cannondale.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/scalesjason - All posts are strictly my personal view.0 -
My mistake, I thought Sky had confirmed they'd given Tao an offer for 2017, but I can't find that anywhere, just "reports".Warning No formatter is installed for the format0
