Ach... I'll push it out to the Tour to allow him some stage racing as well as the one-dayers. I'm concerned he'll get smothered and lose his style... we'll see.
Yeah. If he's made to lose his flair, I'll be most miffed0 -

His style? Waiting for the sprint finish on the final hill?
Please go watch the World Championship 2014...0 -
He waited till the final hill didn't he?
To be honest, I was too distracted by his badly fitting shorts.
0 -
Yeah but not a sprint finish on the hill but a solo descent and win... you only have Amstel in your mind.
Besides - nowt wrong with long shorts... I might draft in Uran if Kwia doesn't work out just to maintain that theme...0 -
Contador - Big love for Pistolero
Tony Martin
Kwiatowski
Sagan
Rafal Majke
Taylor Phinney (hoping for a big come back)
Nathan Haas

Yeah, poke it, Rick :P0 -
You're telling me he has more panache than my man Tankink?
Oh wait...
Ok ok, Boonen, because he never waits for a spri...
Never mind.0 -
yeah yeah... whatevs... he animates a race... and he's got style on and off the bike.0

I was perusing your list and decided it wouldn't be gentlemanly to point that out...0 -
In fairness Vanmarcke doesn't wait for the final sprint usually.
Likes to get the mechanical in way beforehand. Think Cancellara put him off.0 -

First time doing this.... Ummmm......
Esteban Chaves
Caleb Ewan
Ryder Hesjedal
Phillipe Gilbert
Geraint Thomas
Adam Hansen
Peter Sagan
Fabian Cancellara
Tony Martin
Subject to change - I have picked these guys solely because I either like them or have enjoyed watching them... Chaves and Ewan I'll admit owe a lot of their selection to the OGE backstage pass.0 -

I'm surprised you didn't pick the Ween-Dog then...0 -

You got something against poor Pieter Weening, Rick?0

I'd say he already lost it this year. Grinding out a sprint at the end of Amstel (when he'd already been dropped on Cauberg and only got on after Caruso put in a massive dig to drag them back up to Gilbert/Matthews/Valverde, as I've just been reminded by watching the finish again)) notwithstanding…
But if he's "to lose his flair" and win Amstel (by any means necessary) will be good enough for Sky.0 -

No him. Just Ween-dog.0 -

Yeah. My fear is that Sky will re-programme him and he won't win anything. Instead turning into pack fodder... a la EBH...0 -
Adam Hansen - 13 GTs in a row! Legend! Eccentric... Czech living, homemade shoes...
Sep Vanmarcke - I have a soft spot for the nearly man. Still hoping he sorts his tyre situation out.
Joaquin “Purito” Rodriguez - My ultimate man. He tries and tries and keeps getting pipped...
Alexander Kristoff - Underrated... will do good things. And he lives and trains in Stavanger all year round.
Michal Kwiatkowski (on probation due to the Sky move) - Classy rider... let's hope he stays that way.
Toms Skujinš - I just have a good feeling about him...
Esteban Chaves - Everyone's favourite Colombian... he puts a smile on my face so I couldn't resist.
Svein Tuft - Awesome back story... must be one of the oldest in the peloton...
Andriy Grivko - My Ukranian man in the peloton...
OUT
Paolini - Mainly cuz he doesn't appear to be riding in 2016...
Atapuma - Did nothing for me last year...

Chaves and Ewan I'll admit owe a lot of their selection to the OGE backstage pass.
I'm surprised you didn't pick the Ween-Dog then...
He didn't win as much last season and there's only so many spots on Team Bob... Ewan and Chaves are young riders on the up (hopefully...).
To be honest I liked Chaves most, I really hope he has a good season.0 -
Froome - social and physical misfit turns out to be athletic demigod. Long may he continue to be a resounding "up yours" to the guttersnipes and spitting French who can't bear it. A proper racer - I'm just not sure it should be on bicycles.
Kiryienka - won't win a fukcing thing. But just one or two stories from other pros who are on their knees at the end of the 2nd week of a GT and wondering who the hell is pulling on the front up incessant 4% drags at 370w/38kmh for the last 40km; that'll do me. And another smile this season. Is that too much to ask?
Tim Wellens - his Eneco win against GVA, Gilbert, Kelderman, etc, was awesome. Here's hoping he doesn't "do a Spilak" and just go for smaller stage races.
Porte - I'm not sure exactly what the infamous Sky Mt Teide training sessions looked like, but I suspect Porte was the last man to get detached from one of Froome's mental mountain sprints. He should have a better idea than most of how to beat him. If he has a smidgen of the form he had before the Giro disappointment, BMC will be brutally strong at the Tour. I wasn't sure about him at first - I though maybe he'd had a mild stroke or something. Does that make me a bad person?
Stannard - standard. The Omloop Hat-trick? Surely not…
Valverde - ay! caramba! Who is that man in a top hat tying a fair maiden (or "hopes of his competitors", you could say. Metaphorically. If you were a massive ponce) to the rail tracks on his way to yet another victorious escapade?
Adam Yates - against the grain, I do have a favourite.
Dan Martin - like a slack off season - then mixes it with the best of the best at the hardest one dayers. Gives good insight.
Tony Martin - strangely feminine, brutally powerful. Like an AMG Mercedes 63 estate with those eyelash things over the headlamps. Or - more fittingly - a Panzer tank with a flower in the barrel. Said he's going to give the cobbled classics a proper go this year. Oof!
JTL - don't let me down again, J…
That's 10 - but as it's BOGOF season - I get the 2 Martin brothers as one.0 -

Honestly! This BOGOF deal should only have applied to the twins. Give you lot an inch and you take a mile...
As for Kiry. 'A fan who is tired of Kiry, is tired of life'. As I believe Dr* Johnson said

Didn't you have all of MTN in your team last season?Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0 -
Think 2016 will be the year we see a solid french podium place on one of the GT's, so with that in mind, I will have
Tony Gallopin - french
Romain Bardet - french podium contender?
Cedric Moynard - french
Mikael Cherel - french
Julian Alaphilippe - one to watch for classics
Alejandro Valverde - something made me like him last year, don't prove me wrong senor!
Zdenek Stybar - paris roubaix
Tom Dumoulin - confidence can do wonders
Mikel Landa - fantastic support role at vuelta
Want to say my man at least once this year, having previously felt completely left out
Must have had one of my dopy days, as Cedric Moynard, that great french cyclist doesn't actually exist! Although ask me any other time and I would have swore he did. Good spot by all those who noticed that.
So in comes titchy Ritchie, because he makes me smile and he deserves a bit of support
Out: Cedric Moynard

Nope. That was me.
Though if I'm honest I find the mistaken identity flattering.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0
