I think the short version of the 538 link above is this: Trump has a 10 % chance of winning because Biden is only polling 5% ahead in Pennsylvania.

Even if Biden wins Pennsylvania the guy only gives him a 41% chance if he loses Texas. I can assure you Biden will lose Texas. Trump really needs to win Florida. The polls show it very tight same as last time when he won it.

Not sure where you read that - they have Texas as a likely trump win, and a 90% chance of a Biden overall win.
I think he's misreading the chart.

I read it as 'if Biden wins Pennsylvania he has a 41% chance of winning Texas'

And it's only 10% because the polls would have to be out by more than they were 4 years ago.

Is there anything he hasn't lost money on? Apart from the Presidency, which seems to be top dollar for him.

Doesn't the POTUS have his assets put in a blind trust, so maybe someone competent has managed them for the last few years!

He should have done, re blind trust, but he didn't. He's been milking the presidency for all its worth. Jimmy Carter even put his peanut farm into a blind trust...

    No, he doesn't.

    His sons are managing them.

A blind trust wouldn't really work - all the places he needs the secret service and donors to spend money have his name on them.

Only the frame. Two made in England, the Raleigh and the Brompton. Not sure where the Montague was made and the Ritchey Commando, one of the first mountain bikes ever, Dura Ace hubs, bull bars.

I thought that was put into a different form of trust but he realised a loophole in such a trust so created the legislation for the blind trust to close those loopholes but that meant it wasn't completely blind. Something to do with the person hired to manage his interests read also a family friend and as such there was not the separation that a true blind trust gives.

I don't have the details but someone in this forum explained the situation I half remember. I also believe the peanut farm also went from a success to a failure during those years.

Would be more convincing if he said he was from Florida.

Chinese carbon fiber hardtail frame off ebay, Sidi forks, TruVitv Stylo Crank/bottom bracket, Deore XT hubs 3x8, Elixir R brakes, 180 front 140 rear, Sram X9, most Ritchey Pro Stem, bars, seatpost. Most of the parts were take-off purchased on ebay.
How does Deore XT 3x8 work with Scram x9.

If he can pull wins in those an Florida which is also very marginal he stands a good chance.

Looks like the Yanks have the 'dogs at polling stations' thing just like we do: a 'Labradonald' has been spotted already :)

Good eye! I had to go count. The Ebay Special is 3x9, the Montague ended up 3x8. In Texas bicycles are mostly toys. I'm waiting on a chain ring (50T) on the Brompton. Has a 48T on there now that is in fair shape for its age. It has 14T rear so direct will be 50x14 with two higher and two lower. I probably should have gone with smaller front.

I'm off to vote for Trump!

Here’s hoping a small chink of goodness in an otherwise sh!te year.
