I take it all back. Trump has given more details of the "I'm not stupid" test he took, and it's all fine.

Maybe when they said voters they meant every voter?

The utter dross on offer on both sides of the Atlantic is at least, partly everyone's responsibility.

That is really the objective of Russian interference. They don't care what the politics are. They're just interested in febrile politics that generate appalling leadership.

The ideology of the democratic west is still its biggest weapon, and places like China and Russia, dictatorships, know this, so they do what they can do to undermine it.

Or simply to engender distrust in Western democracy in which case it's working on many of us!

They've clearly been up to their tricks for quite some time!

I'm no expert, but I think he could have done with a bit of practice.

He had Mariano Rivera at the coronavirus briefing same day Fauci was throwing the pitch. Bit odd.

Well the Democrats are the spinners of fake news so it makes sense.

Donald Jr. gets banned from Twitter and coincidentally the Trumpster himself stops tweeting. In the huff, coincidence, or same account?

Footage of these arrests are beginning to resemble the footage of arrests the Soviet police were making during the protests right at the end of the Union. No-uniform, turning up in the middle of a priests and nabbing someone - everyone just has to presume they’re police.

Obviously very different, but similar levels of police impunity.
I guess the sentencing bit is very different (you’d hope..!)

A bit odd as I lived not far from there so it looks very familiar to me.

That along with the Republican outbursts in the Senate committee with Google etc. yesterday that they are favouring the Democrats smacks of getting your excuses in early and / or getting your supporter base outraged in advance.

Did you see the congressman who thought it was a dark conspiracy that when he typed "Gateway Pundit" into his browser a second time, it found what he was looking for quicker than the first time a few weeks earlier?

Thing is, since the Democrats have a majority in the house, what's his point? All he's going to do at best is encourage his own supporters to boycott the election and induce an landslide.

The whole “delay the election” thing is another tick in the fascist checklist.

Well yes, but this term will end in January unless the Democrats vote to let him stay on for a while. Which they won't, unless he's happened to win an election.

Is he just a bit tired and wants an excuse to have failed? Do the Republicans want him out so that they can claim until the end of time that the Democrats only win rigged elections?

Is this just another tweet he "regrets"?

Gotta get your excuses in early. That’s definitely a common theme to US and UK politics.

He doesn't care about the republican party, I wouldn't be surprised if he just refuses to go.

It's slightly reassuring that only pompeo has given him any slack, even McConnell says it's nonsense.

I think we will see the constitution take supremacy over the presidency if he tries anything too silly.
It already has multiple times in his early ‘executive order’ phase and will potentially draw the curtain on a bizarre 4 years if he claims to still be president on his own terms.
There must also be a lot of Republicans who would dread another 4 years of him.

One thing he doesn't have is an appetite for war.
