In answer to your question - nothing. And it is not restricted to international diplomacy.

Just can't stay away, can you?

I feel you're not really trying with that one, though.

Trump at G7: US president calls for end to tariffs and trade barriers

That could do the ftse 100 some good after a poor week. We shall see..

    As you were

G7 summit ends in disarray as Trump abandons joint statement

At least you know where you stand with Trump - in a swamp of treachery, confusion and chaos.

Trump is seemingly more statesman like, he's focused, articulate and in danger of becoming fiercly effective

North Korea, whether this is the end game at this juncture or a stepping stone to a nuclear free Korean peninsula remains to be seen but North Korea's successful acquisition of nuclear technology was a major stain on previous administrations.

Rebalancing the trade tariffs, like Trump says they could hardly do worse than their present position. Most opposition will give way rather than get into escalating retaliatory sanctions.

Iran, tactically nothing is off the table which has Iran unbalanced plus long term allies scrambling to save the treaty but the context is much wider given the regional religious/politics

I cant see the Muller investigation going anywhere, impeachment is a political rather than a criminal process.

Just saying if he pulls off a few of the above it's highly likely he'll be re-elected.

How many times have people said , nah, he's a muppet, he'll never do it.

If you haven't noticed he's going about doing it. Which causes more alarm as its an example that his bigotry, racism and sexism are a beneficial narrative for the wider public.

However we may read the above, the scary part is that his voters are lapping it up and getting re-elected is a very distinct possibility. Major crash or war aside. Which is the other scary part.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

China is the biggest headache for the USA. It will take over as number one global power in under ten years time. As things stand.

Trump's efforts to fix that are futile at best but most likely just counter-productive.

When he was asked about human rights, he totally fell to pieces, lying through his teeth. He’s winging it, and tripping himself up. There was a report that he wouldn’t take a scientist with him, in fact first president who hasn’t got a science advisor, probably because he knows more about science than just about every scientist, combined, together ever!

Painful to watch this press thing, as usual his answers to questions just talk of "things" and "many things" and not much else, he's not saying anything cos he doesn't know anything, it's as if he hasn't even been in the meeting that he was in.

Human rights question he didn't understand and thought of the rights of americans wanting bodies returned so talked about that, when he was actually being asked about the human rights of the North K people. He had the question rephrased to him including "the north K people" before he said anything on it, and then it was "things". Hmmm. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised, we know he can't speak or comprehend much on the fly.

No, that would not end his job. Have you learnt nothing in the past 18 months? The checks and balances depend on the people with the power actually using them. There is no evidence that they are going to do that.

Just watching the series trailer they showed before the press conference. It's insane. It goes on for minutes, and literally says in that trailer voice "What will be their sequel? Destiny Pictures presents a new story, a new beginning.... Two men, two leaders, one destiny.... Featuring President Donald J Trump, and Chairman Kim Jong Un in a meeting to remake history..."

    A triumph in North Korea!

No commitment to complete verifiable, irreversible denuclearisation or CVID, Trump say there wasn’t time. “I’m here for one day. The process is now going to take place,” .North Korea has already demonstrated its commitment by destroying a testing site, Trump claims.

Human rights in North Korea? We'll talk about that later

Lifting sanctions? Yes, soon. says he had 300 “very big and powerful” sanctions ready last week but held off ahead of the summit because imposing them would have been “disrespectful”. “The sanctions will come off when we are sure when we are sure the nukes are no longer a factor,” he said.

Asked about the timeline, he said denuclearisation “takes a long time scientifically”.

US military exercises : Trump would halt "war games" - planes have to fly six and half hours from Guam to take part. “I know a lot about airplanes, and it’s very expensive,” he says.
