Oh dear. Always look after people on your way up......

    https://washingtonmonthly.com/2017/06/06/why-no-lawyers-will-represent-trump/
They’re also savvy enough to realize that the Trump Organization is up to its ears in money laundering and that this will create a conflict with the large banking institutions they represent.

That's quiet interesting that they will say that so blatently in print and obviously don't seem worried about being sued.

    good read!

it seems that Trumps lawyers are saying you cannot charge the president with obstruction of justice and even if you did he can pardon himself. Lawyers on CNN are saying that all Mueller can do it seems is build up the evidence and present it to congress and then they have to decide what to do with it. Whatever happened to no man is above the law, not in the US it seems.

It was the same with Nixon or at least, that's what he thought.

It's worth reading the Seth Abramson stuff. Trump knows he's in the sh1t big style and they're working on the process to fire Mueller - all as predicted above. The bloke will go for the "the political elite all out to get me" card as soon as he can and have a clean sweep of all the justice offices and FBI top posts. And a majority of his electorate are so dumb they won't realise he's turning himself into a dictator.

and the sad thing is the Democrats seem to be like a rudderless ship, it's the Media, Mueller and a few Republicans who are shouting the loudest.

Trump's personal banking information handed over to Robert Mueller
Deutsche Bank, Donald Trump’s biggest lender, is forced to submit documents after special prosecutor issues subpoena
now this could start getting tasty, if there's payments to Russians in that
It is not clear whether Mueller is interested in the bank accounts because they are connected to the Russia probe or if he is investigating another matter.
either way Trump will be raging
The news could also elicit a strong reaction from the president, who has previously said that any attempt to investigate his personal business dealings would go beyond Mueller’s investigative mandate and would represent a “violation”.

ahh yes as well, but i was thinking about the money he must have 'borrowed' from Russians investors on favourable terms to expand the Trump empire

    Donald J. Trump

    @realDonaldTrump
Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA - NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!
    12:31 PM - Jan 11, 2017
Former MI6 chief Richard Dearlove says Donald Trump borrowed money from Russia during 2008 financial crisis
This is what Trumps worried about, it seems that a foreign power having leverage over a sitting President might be an issue (or there again might not) One things for sure one year ago it would have been absolutely unimaginable for a president to be in that position

    Trump's main trouble right there.
He doesn't seem to realise that his own tweets/speeches/interviews can be used against him.

he might be starting to realise it, or the staffers have hidden his phone, he's been very quiet today :)

extended delays usually mean he is too incandescent to use the keypad. He is waiting for a dialling wand.
  • He's probably doing his online banking.

    :D

It would be funny of he were impeached on historical tax and finance violations, rather than anything to so with his presidency.

Didn't they ban Obama from using his smart phone as soon as he became president?

Fantastic news about getting the country of origin ban put in place by the supreme court exactly as the electorate wanted and fantastic news about the tax reforms as promised. Your british pm cannot seem to get anything right. Maybe she should learn from The President.

Actually not surprised that the Great Professors have not celebrated these events on this thread.

“We want to create peace between Israel and the Palestinians. We will get it done,” Trump said. “We will be working so hard to get it done. I think there is a very good chance and I think we will.”

At a lunch later on, he was even bolder: “It is something that I think is frankly, maybe, not as difficult as people have thought over the years.”

way to go Dotard," I'll start by putting my Jewish son in law who has no conflict of interest in charge, that should give Jared just enough time to fix it before he has to sort out peace in cell block H, then i'll totally pee off the arab world by moving the american embassy to Jerusalem against international law/concensus, see I told you it was easy, right what's the next world problem to solve?"

  • New US embassy is needed in Jerusalem. I bet the Israelis could find them a site at a real knockdown price in East Jerusalem. The Palestinians really didn't own the land anyway. Plus their houses and apartments were not to code so were illegal anyway.

Seriously could happen. If it does then I will know for certain that it's a reality TV show for Trump and it's a spoof presidency.

What is happening? Seriously, is all this for real? Am I watching a spoof documentary style situation comedy here?

You need to be clear that the electoral college voted for Trump, not the electorate.

  • It's interesting timing. Ban interlocutory injunctions removed, announcement (which will enrage) made.

    Trump or fish fish?

Serious question, if you think about the Jerusalem announcement that's expected.

I think the announcement is all but a done deal, when is backs to the wall or under stress it's just what the Dump does to deflect the spotlight
