There was a tweet kicking about last night saying Flynn's lawyers had told Trump lawyers that they weren't allowed to discuss the Russia probe any more.

Consensus was that Flynn is negotiating (or already has negotiated) a plea bargain.

Funny really - if any other President tweeted at you it would feel like an amazing honour. If the Trump tweeted at me I'd be vaguely embarrassed. It's weird how he has totally downgraded the position of US president.

The way he has talked on the record and written about it is weird - as in he doesn't realise that what he is saying is grossly inappropriate. He almost seems proud of spotting her at a dance recital when she was 15 or 16 and he was 30.

I can't believe that anyone reading that along with hearing he was banned from malls and a YMCA for bothering teenage girls doesn't at least have serious doubts about him, and would be inclined to believe his accusers - but it seems that being a liberal is a worse crime to some people.

Honestly, I think most voters don't believe what they read in the press.

I think they reckon it's all a minor offence blown hugely out of proportion by a press who always has an agenda, and that, bluntly, he's not a child molester.

We mock 'fake news' chat by Trump, but it really resonates with a lot of people in the states.

Didn't word that very well. I think he's way past weird, but as RC says, his supporters think it's all a put up job.
