Trump declaring the shooter as mentally deranged has nothing to do with actual mental illness. It's Trump nefariously conflating the two to control the narrative and avoid people looking at the real issues.
To Trump this person is too white for terrorism and Trump won't make it an NRA issue as they helped fund his campaign so he has to distract and make the focus something, or better still someone else. Painting this individual as a deranged lone wolf allows all those responsible for the gun legislation that allows such attacks to bear no responsibility.0 -

Does anyone have an opinion on whether Trump and Berlusconi share any similarities.
As I see it they have an abusive / unhealthy attitude to women, both very rich businessmen who successfully went into politics. Both have had scandals in office. Both should be locked up for the public safety / their own safety.
It might be unfair to both of them.0 -

To tell the truth, the man is a womb le but, as we discussed amongst my family at the time (all university educated people, pretty bright) the state of Italian politics was/is so awful that for some shocking reason he was actually the best of the bunch.
Think that says something for the rest of them.
