Brand Snobbery in Cycling??

Errr, no. I'm not precious with my bikes and I certainly don't name them. Got myself on this list after his TT bikes won at NAHBS because I loved the look of it (originally I was going to have him build me a TT bike, but changed my mind when I realised it would be slower than my current one). If I cared about exclusivity and was elitist I'd have kept my Fascenario 0.6.
You don't name your bikes? That's just weird.0 -

I have a bicycle called Scott. I also have a motorcycle called Sue Zuekee. I am still weird tho coz those names were given by their makers and not me. If I were to choose their names my bicycle would be called Armstrong (after the moon walk thing) and my motorcycle would be called Achmed.0 -

With mine I call them what they are, Timemachine and Teammachine
I know of people that call their bikes names at the club. these people are often nuts.0 -
Giant makes most company's bikes...
Pinarello id for posh sportive riders who don't know any better.
Ritte is for douchebags.
Canyon is for people that like to wait months before ever getting their bike,
Specialized is for people who need something to follow since Jim Jones drank the the rest of the punch.
Trek because 'Murica.
Scott is for those that scooped up a great frame at a third of retail.
Wilier is for people who like to claim warranty.
Colnago is for people who love Campag and need somewhere to put it.
Bianchi is for people who need a bike to match their celeste shoes and iPhone case.
I could go on...
BMC - for people who like scaffolding. :P0 -
