TOM D Positive for Testosterone.

He's just not good enough to be pro-tour but he's backed himself into a corner where that's the only place he can maintain his lifestyle, I suspect.0

So one of Cannondale's sponsors is a supplement testing company!
Informed-choice
I don't think he's claimed anything about supplements yet has he?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
@gietvangent0 -
didn't his tweet say i'm innocent I've never taken anything banned and so i'm having tests run on my supplements0
-
He just said "looking into all possible ways this could have happened"
I thought since FF had already libelled Horner he may want to back pedal a little on implicating a company doing good work who as far as we know had nothing to do with this"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

What was Landis's excuse for his positive for testosterone? Whisky and sex, wasn't it…?
Sounds to me like Danielson is already wearing a witch's costume and being held aloft by the flaming torch mob: doubt there's anything he can say or do.0 -

@tomdanielson u still have them magic spoons? U gonna need them

I hope we get a clear cut result but that's rarely the case. It's a real shame if he's still been at it but then I never liked the 'ex doper' moniker.
I also seem to be the only person who liked the Horner story.0 -
I don't really get all the "this is a reality check" type comments. I mean who was pinning their clean cycling hopes on Tom Danielson?
Jonathan Vaughters

Ill post the detailled look at Horner from the Vuelta later today. Makes Froome look tame.
He probably stopped the jj when he went back to the US as he has been thoroughly rubbish. He does however consider himself favourite for this race along with Schleck now that Mr 'I somehow win Tour of Utah and nothing else' Danielson has been popped, likely from target testing from US officials who know what we do.
Horner was even pulled from defending his Vuelta win the following year due to his values.
This is Horner who denies doping even at a time when he was running with the Disco boys.Contador is the Greatest0 -
That was low cortisol, the same as Lars Boom, cept Astana didn't pull him.
Just MPC guidelines and 'could be' quite legit0 -
This is Horner who denies doping even at a time when he was running with the Disco boys.
Which was when exactly?0 -

Aye Disco was a right rogues gallery. .."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Not same team but same league of people. You know Horner was on the USADA investigation...interesting read.
He has also had more teams than [insert appropriate simile here]Contador is the Greatest0 -
Horner is 43...!
As an aside just seen he was born in Japan.
Just for the record as well, I think Horner has a very good level of natural talent, certainly more than the eskimo.Contador is the Greatest0 -
ONCE, disco, Astana...oh no, that's someone else completely.
Still didn't get an answer about Horner. We 'all' think there's something dodgy but apart from the redacted name, what is there really?0 -
DG have a read of this. If you want a longer discussion you can search BR for the (long) thread on him:

@Vaughters 1h
Selfishly, Id like to disappear, but that hurts quite a few good people. Therefore,Slipstream's owners(me too) have decided to push forward.

@Vaughters those good people would be better off without you.
Still bitter from when Vaughters plea dealed.0 -
FF thanks for that. Interesting.
As to LA om twitter. .. really? Who's done more for clean cycling in tge last decade? Armstrong moaning from the sidelines or Garmin?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

And as an aside, I really want a button that prevents me reading replies to tweets."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Danny Pate is ripping him apart on twitter just now. Very funny0

Danny Pate really doesn't like him.0

Danielson seems to be universally disliked. Armstrong seems to be capitalising on Vaughter's current situation as well. This sport really is the gift that keeps on giving.0

The US riders back home - plus clearly the likes of Pate - have made it abundantly clear that they believe Danielson only fessed up to part of his doping
There's also stuff with Danielson's personal goings-on that adds to the massive dislike of him
As for Larry - the usual bollox.0 -
Dont quite grasp why Vaughters is taking so much flack over this, he cant be expected to be with every rider 24 hours a day. It was an out of comp test.
Why wont Armstrong just go away. I know he is addicted to publicity, any publicity, but having that smirking scheeming individual pontificating on the current riders and teams realy winds me up. :evil:0 -

Narcissist. its all about the attention. More than anything - the money, the ban, being stripped of his wins - its the fact that he's no longer a major player, that he no longer matters - that gets to him0 -

Yep. All true.
I look at armstrong these days and just see some really tacky tragic ending yet to play out.
Anyways Garmin need to get on this in a upfront way right now."If I was a 38 year old man, I definitely wouldn't be riding a bright yellow bike with Hello Kitty disc wheels, put it that way.
