Yet he rides like a Martian unfettered by terrestrial borders. Give the nationality stuff a rest. Dissecting someone's identity when you know next to nothing about them is daft....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0

Well done Froomedog - the second time a Kenyan has won the TdF.
Predictable and inaccurate nonsense.
Another humourless oik.
As opposed to someone who thinks if you repeat something often enough it will suddenly become funny?
Grace us with your enviable sense of humour then. It's only a forum, if you didn't find it funny, then so what, why do you feel the need to strut?
What's inacurate about Froome being born in Kenya?
"Christopher "Chris" Froome (born 20 May 1985) is a Kenyan-born British professional road racing cyclist riding for UCI ProTeam Team Sky. He is seen as one of the most successful riders of the recent era.[4][5] Brought up in Kenya and South Africa, he has ridden since 2008 under a British licence on the basis of his passport and his father's and grandparents' country of birth.[6]
In 2007 Froome turned professional at the age of 22 with Team Konica Minolta. He moved to Europe to further his career, joining team Barloworld... "
Sorry if I hit a nerve but the cheap, Kenyan jibe is getting a bit old don't you think?
The fact that you posted:

Indicates to me that you don't understand the distinction between "born in Kenya" and "Kenyan".
Many people are born in foreign countries and yet are not naturalised to that country e.g. Bradley Wiggins and Boris Johnson for instance.
The fact that Froome has a British father, British grandparents, holds a British passport, raced for Britain in the last Olympics and actually wants to be British indicates but one thing, he's British! The fact that many xenophobic types who inhabit forums such as this like to claim he isn't British doesn't alter that fact. They're probably not even British themselves and are just using it as as way of trying to get at him or those who support him and celebrate his achievements.
I am Kenyan. I was born in Kenya. I am proud of what he has done as a 'Kenyan'. I am not xenophobic. Seen as the Kenyan cycling scene is hardly on the world stage, he had no choice but to become a nationalised Brit and who could blame him?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

I can't help but really like him. Not sure about the 'machine-gun' though, bit raw for some Parisians perhaps...
Good point.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Good point.
It made me smile, but perhaps that is just my sense of humour. It was perhaps not to everyone's taste though.0 -
Back OT, (phew).
I like Froome shaking his head at him.

On the podium shots, look at Quintana's then Froome's then Valverde's legs. You will notice, normal, abnormal, normal.
Also not sure how Rick feels about Greipel, Quintana and Valverde bringing their kids up thereContador is the Greatest0 -
