So, the final stage of the 2015 TdF. Not a lot to say except that I have enjoyed this year's race greatly. Thanks to Rick for allowing me back and I shall keep my fingers crossed for a Cav victory!
Enjoy the stage everyone.

I loved this years tour and I always feel very deflated on the last day, July during the tour is always like a holiday away from all my troubles. I'm always sad to see it go.0

Sky to break the internet by donning Livestrong colours for the last stage“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

That would be great if it was at all possible, probably the most popular. Greipel will do though.0 -

Just read that it's the first time the top 5 are all GTs winners. It was the show down we wanted except for Contador.0

2 bad crashes now, bunch is down to about 25 riders. Just trying to see if Lizzie is up there.
If you've ever ridden the Champs Elysees during the rain the slightest touch on the brakes can be enough to take you down. The Paris streets are covered in a film of oil and diesel.BASI Nordic Ski Instructor

I was curious to know if Archibald is riding? Not heard her name mentioned.0

I don't like his style of riding that much or his attitude. I don't fall for this faux-humble stuff he often tries when he wins, and when he loses he's such a bad loser. He's a moaner. I did like his supreme nationals effort though but even after that he just had to get gobby.
I know a lot of people like him, but I think that's mainly the English and the Man-U effect.
Everyone is free to want him to win, just as I'm free to want him not to.0 -

Total ice rink today. Crash caused by one of the Wiggles just touching her brakes.BASI Nordic Ski Instructor

The weather makes a change, hope it stays like this, is it supposed to clear?0

Looks like it'll probably get drier as the day goes on, but I'd think the surface will still be damp by the time they get into Paris.0 -

Even more dangerous if it dries up just a bit.0 -
I put the jerseys and glasses into GEAR but we seem to be posting here.

Crashes galore on La Course - the roads are like ice. The woman are falling with no reason other than an unfortunate touch of the brakes or the white line a bit wetter than expected - heaven only knows what it will be like in 35km time when it gets to the pointy end of the stage. I hope it is dry/drier for the arrival of the tdf in three hours or so0

Oily wet cobbles await riders in Paris, only the second time I've ever seen it. Crossing the line for the first time classed as finishing.“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

Water pooled up in places, I notice - if nothing else, it makes it easier to see quite how bumpy the road surface is - I always appreciated that the cobbles made things awkward, but the constant rise and fall of the actual road height is interesting to see.0 -

Oily wet cobbles await riders in Paris, only the second time I've ever seen it. Crossing the line for the first time classed as finishing.b) Specific provisions
The race management and Stewards’ Committee may have to take the following measures for the finish of the 21st stage on the Champs-Élysées in Paris:
• if the road surface of the Champs-Élysées has become slippery before the riders reach it, then the times may be taken for the first crossing of the finish line;
• if the road surface of the Champs-Élysées becomes slippery after the riders have already begun racing on it, then the times may be taken at the next crossing of the finishing line. In both cases, the finish will be maintained. In both cases, riders and sports managers will be informed immediately. In any event, riders must compete all of the circuits of the Champs-Élysées to be ranked at the final finish0 -
