Regardless of whom anyone wants to win the race, endless baiting of other forum members is really dull.

Riis: "I'm disappointed to see how Tinkoff-Saxo handled the situation. Bad communication. Majka should have stopped and waited for Contador"
Absolutely.
Hardly a surprise when the boss treats his riders like a pimp treat's his ho. Why anyone would want to ride for a team managed by Oleg defeats me. Surely they don't need the money that badly0 -

That. Fair play. It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -
Is this TJ's annual shocker?
Isn't that every time he gets on his bike? </controversial>0 -

No, I think you have this wrong. I genuinely like it when Contador loses in any form. It's great to see.0 -
Looking a lot like Contador last TdF. Still fighting but the batteries are running down.
Why? He's currently the holder of two GTs and will probably finish 4th in this tour. It's hardly all over for his career. Plus next year, he has said he is not going to ride the Giro.0 -
How did Ryder Hesjedal ever win a GT? He's 1:40 behind.
How do you think?0 -

Sometimes it comes across as your only interest in cycling.0 -

By not having a bad day and packing a team of solid rouleurs.
That's one possibility I suppose.0 -

And racing against a weaker field than is present in this race, and being a good few years younger, and being underrated by his opponents.
Probably missed some others.
I should think you've missed the most obvious one.0 -

It's not. My comments against Contador are absolutely dwarfed by the posts obsessing about him. I genuinely enjoy watching all pro cycling, fandom tires me though, personally I think it's the reserve of kids really.
Today's stage was a great watch even if the GC story was not unfolding much (not that it was going to). The last two good stages have been made exciting by the descents rather than the climbs which has been great viewing.0 -

There is a very strong counter argument that the constant posting denigrating other teams and individuals efforts is significantly more dull.Trail fun - Transition Bandit

TJVG abandons. Sad.
Never good to see a GC contender abandon. Or any rider come to that.0 -
OK I'm not a fan of Teejay but I have to feel for him here.
Poor b*gger.
+1.0 -
Wonder how Nibali is dealing with this. He's a level below the top 2.

Makes you really happy:
“It took me two or three minutes to figure out what I had done. It was important going into the break and then we had to figure out what to do after that. It was a very good group to be in, a lot of guys were hanging on. I had to try something. I went into a break on the long climb and I had to take my chances to win. It was beautiful. When I had so much of an advantage, I knew there was a chance. It was incredible. This is my third victory as a professional, to be at the Tour is… I was waiting for 15 years for this moment.”Contador is the Greatest0 -
Jesus - some stage! I have been in meetings all afternoon, return to find the 7 page thread I left has grown to 25! I'll have to catch up this evening after the ITV4 roundup0

Unbelievable! The amount of puerile rubbish you have posted on this thread alone beggars belief.
The muffin man has been on perma block for several years now!Contador is the Greatest0 -
Sad to see TJ leave the race in this manner.
Edit; If he is out with a migraine, then that is tough luck. As Rick says, he will be as right as rain in the morning but while he is struck by the migraine, he is powerless to do anything. Used to get one bad one each year. Loss of sight in one eye, splitting headache and nausea/vomiting. They are no joke.
DD.
I have never had one if that's how bad they are0 -

Well if that's what you think, fair enough. I wouldn't exaggerate though to make your point.0 -

I used to have them when I was younger but although after a night in a dark room it would be gone I generally would feel really washed out the next day. Same sort of symptoms though, i.e. nausea, vision impairment etc. Very debilitating and can't conceive of cycling competitively with one. Climbing the stairs to lie down in bed was an ordeal0 -

I don't know, obviously, but great champions tend not to just fade away and i can't see him coming back next year to finish 4th again (and we'll have to see what he manages this year).0 -
Froome's 26th day in yellow just mentioned.0

Samu:
"it was very hard for us, three days to go to Paris and he's our leader. It was very hard for us. We're going to keep going and keep trying to do our best, but it's a huge blow. We just have to try and recover. We've had a decent Tour so far, we just have to try and put it to the back of our minds. We're all struggling with fatigue at the moment, but losing Tejay is gutting for us as a team."Contador is the Greatest0 -

Most companies have someone who's like Oleg. Just usually less successful.0 -
MTN best team of the day and second overall. They've more than earned their place0

Has Monsieur Prudhomme discovered a tribe of giant women, and employed them as podium girls? Or are today's winners all hobbits?0
