Is Sagan the new GvA?Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0

Is the name Sagan derived from an odd amalgamation of the words Second again?0
-
I thought Carlton Kirby was going to throw up with excitement!0

So they were both 2nd there right?"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Wuyts lost the plot there."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

A philosophy puzzle of finish with Peter Sagan and Greg Van Avermaet both sprinting for the line, who would finish second?

That white lugged C60 looks nice. Works well with white inside the chainstays and a white seat post.
Very unique to Colagnolo. So much so it makes me wonder what is the point these days with stiff monocoque frames. Unless it's a marketing gimmick ? I cant work out if the lugs are even real or faux ?

GVA - awesome stuff. That's a power finish!0
-
Quite a watchable stage that for what it was.0
-
It looked like Froome was behind Contador, Valverde and Nibali halfway up the sprint but was slightly punchier at the end and got across the line before them.0
-
Exciting finale. Good effort from the remnants of the break. Glad that GVA won - well deserved and his first Tour win! Would have been happy for Sagan to get it too - his collection of second places just shows how wonderful he is as it is better to have a bunch of seconds then some top 50 placing.Contador is the Greatest0

They are real, and it allows them to engineer frames in many sizes very well. It was the first C60 I'd seen that I actually thought had a colour scheme that flattered it, that's why I mentioned it.0 -

Must have engaged the motor when his ego got the better of him.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Right, I'm off on holiday boys!

Really can't work out how Sagan failed to get around there having held the wheel over the top of the ramp with GVA having gone so long.
Thought for a moment the bunch had messed up and the 3 would stay away, as it was I think a few of the riders had to go earlier than they'd have liked to close the gap.
Peraud must have been in danger of sun burning a sensitive area the state his shorts were in  Deep looking road rash that.0 -
Good to see De Gendt back in form too."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

I'm not 100% convinced Sagan wasn't looking at that small line 10 feet in front of the actual finish - that's where he seemed to stop pushing. Up until that point I thought it looked like he had it in the bag.0
-
I think Sagan just didn't have the legs.0

I challenge you to go one whole stage without a bitter dig at sky or their riders."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Excellent swearing in English from Sagan during his Ned Boulting interview
If you missed it, basically he said it was his mistake. When he caught GVA he sat down for a moment instead of pushing on and that cost him the win.0 -
