Has nighttime testing now started?Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0

Haha sorry mate.
How's the Vanniewkerk book? Worth me ponying up to import it?
Good call banning him. Often wondered how Frenchie is alowed to get away with the same thing though?????0 -

You always seem to attack anything you disagree with, but sadly you're terrible at it. Whenever a naysayer comes along you jump in. You descend to the lowest form of argument really quickly which allows those 'trolls' to focus on you and ignore better points.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Guess not.
That'd f*ck me off to be honest.
I'm a light sleeper however tired I am and a hefty night disturbance and having to force a p!ss out in the middle of the night would really stop me sleeping.0 -

Frenchie sometimes reaches for personal insults rather than engaging his brain, which is occasionally wearisome, and he can also be pretty thin-skinned (I fully expect that statement to put me on his voluminous 'block' list, if I'm not already there). However he doesn't attempt to wind people up, engages in an actual discussion, and throws facts and obscure bits and pieces into the discussion. You might not agree with him, but he's not trolling.
Although when he praised Contador's "humble canary breeding" I must confess that I suspected someone had started a parody account...0 -
Serious 'roid rage from NBC at that Brailsford scrum. They won't be fooled again.

I thought the 5.6 was from the "hacked" data? Therefore actual data not pseudoscience (if real).
Either way, it doesn't sound that remarkable compared to Contador's 6.77w/kg FTP from his warmup that was posted the other day.0 -
Peter Verbeken. It was him all along.0

Interesting that in the time since Leinders was exposed we've learned lots about Taylor Phinney, but precious little about these shadowy characters hiding in plain sight, even wearing team kit. Somebody isn't doing their job.

I don't think David Walsh will be digging up any nuggets for us this time. I saw the Froome biography programme where his tongue was so up Sky's arse it was sickening. He knows his employer is watching.“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving”- Albert Einstein

Assuming FTP means the same thing in Spanish though he can do it for an hour - although everyone lies about their FTP don't they ?[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0 -

I agree, which is why I don't care. But for anyone professionaly interested in embarrassing connections, a former Lance side-kick in the service course is effectively in plain sight, suggesting that far from Sky suppressing The Truth, people are too lazy to look for it....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. "Please stop talking about doping and motors at @TeamSky" tweeted the Tinkoff-Saxo owner Oleg Tinkov. "This is silly. They're simply strongest here yet. I praise their approach.#TDF2015"
Says it all, thanks Oleg. Kinda makes the usual posters on this forum look feckin' stooopid doesn't it?'Performance analysis and Froome not being clean was a media driven story. I haven’t heard one guy in the peloton say a negative thing about Froome, and I haven’t heard a single person in the peloton suggest Froome isn’t clean.' TSP0 -

Emma O''Reilly seems prepared to stick her nose into the wind without being asked these days, perhaps she could shed light on the irrelevance or otherwise of this guy.0 -

Yeah, this is the puzzler for me... David Walsh convinced Emma O'Reilly to share her recollections of the USPS ride with the world, so he's a saint. Then he decides he believes in Sky, so he's the devil. But Emma's still on the side of the angels because she says bad things about Sky on twitter. But this guy, who (as far as I know) nobody has ever asked his opinion on his one year with USPS or on the probity of Sky, is proof of badness? I can't follow the logic.
Maybe Sky were unaware of it, I'm not putting my jobs from 10 years ago on my CV."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Just as a side here (I am pretty sure Sky are clean, mainly for the ramifications it would have for British Cycling if it transpired that they were not) if they are doping then someone must have forgot to tell Nico Roche, they need to get him in and on it sharpish, been a very odd pick this year, thought his chances were zero after his recent form but somehow he got in.0

Sven Nys' coach not a fan of Froome. He uses todays big Sporza interview to ask how Froome can look anorexic and still have the same power.
That he doesn't give any indication of using anything more than guesstimations of Power (6.1w/g is the number he's bandying about) and that his insight into Froome's weight is "somebody who knew Froome when he lived in Belgium" who says he used to be 80KG and is now 66KG, isn't held up to any scrutiny.
I thought reducing weight but keeping power was what cycling coaching was all about these days?
He is at pains to point out that he doesn't suspect doping, just supplements and diet pills that aren't banned but should be. So that's ok."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

You will literally never know. You might know one day if they're dirty. It's not really a good question to ask if you have any intention of enjoying cycling (or any other sport).
How can you enjoy a sport if you are are full of doubt on the outcome.0
