Grudging admission there Stevo, that any conventional labour leader rather than this sh!tshow would have won.

    It’s a sh!tshow both ways.

No it's a sh!tshow because there are too many leftietwats, people like you, that look for reasons to absolve people of their responsibilities by giving them excuses and who whinge, moan and complain all the time because they only want to see negatives.

You and people like you with your actions are slowly making everything worse because of the above and hence are fueling the reason the far right is gaining in strength

Blimey one day with a bit of sunshine and it's all coming out. 9/10. Not your best ever, but good meaty stuff.

You say I should learn what things mean and then label me as the far right.:lol::lol:

The more you whinge, moan and complain, the more the far right grows to balance the likes of you out. Yet you cannot see that you are creating this problem because your head is so far up your arse.

How many general elections have they won?

    Game's not over yet.

Last election was hardly electoral oblivion for Labour was it now? Or are we playing the I don't know what words mean game again.
Electoral oblivion was obviously the preferred result. But keeping the leftietwats out of power will do.
No, it's the moving the goalposts game.

BTW how many games does Stevo have? I've not been paying attention but just realised he does seem to have a few tricks to avoid having to accept / admit he's wrong.

Not wrong in the above statement though, always good to keep the Leftietwats out. Have you trademarked that phrase Stevo like leftiebollox?

Primary aim was to keep them out of power. Mission accomplished so far.

Either labour having Corbyn helped the Tories win or it didn’t.

You’re sticking to your guns that it did, right? And you’re sticking to your guns that he’s fundamentally unelectable right?

Don't knock whinging, moaning and complaining. Without the endless whinging, moaning and complaining from the likes of your beloved Daily Mail there would be no brexit.

Don't knock the daily mail. They were the first newspaper to publicly identify the Lawrence murderers (yeah I watched last night's documentary). They have done a good public service before with at least that ballsy headline. Even the daily heil/wail does its bit for the country...on the odd occasion.

Whether I think their role on getting Brexit, when it actually happens (I'm getting bored can see leave now?), is positive or negative I'll keep to myself.

I'd ague that Corbyn helped bring a lot of voters in, whilst a lot "held their nose" and voted against the Tories. It's possible a more centrist leader wouldn't have been able to bring those newbies in...

More interestingly, now I'm back in my hometown I remember how much of a big deal political virtue signalling is round there.

It's a veritable war of the vote x garden stakes, with about one in every 5 hoses boasting one.

Naturally it's a swing seat between Lib Dems and Labour for GEs, and the council is a healthy mix of Labour and Lib dem with a smattering of independents.

Unfortunately my borough looks to be quite heavily labour, but hopefully us gentrifiers can show them the error of their ways. ;)

Don't forget that with any other Labour leader, Theresa May would not have called an election in 2017. Basically, Corbyn being there and seeming to be useless has inadvertently led to the Conservatives losing their majority.

I only realised recently that the then owner was instrumental in getting the UK to take a large number of the 'boat children' from Vietnam. I was slightly shocked given the paper's stance on immigration both recently and historically.

Decent write up on the culture of the home office immigration service through the ‘90s through to now in the FT

Seems Nick Timothy, he of “citizens of the world are citizens of nowhere”, was one of the key men behind the hostile policy. Who’d have thought it, eh?

Must be sad to see the world through his eyes.

What would have been the outcome had they not publically identified the Lawrence murderers? Would another have done so the following day? One possibly insconsequential right doesn't make up for many thousands of wrongs. Pick up a copy and see how many headlines beging "Fury at" - they are sh1tstirrers of the first degree that exist basically to make their readership unhappy. Lawrence or not, the world would be a better place without the mail.
