Surprised no one mentioned some of the abominably long socks on that stage.
Like a bunch of hockey players riding up a mountain.
Must be a new trend sneaking in. There were quite a few pairs on the start line of our local 3/4 circuit race last night.0 -
It is very hipster. Looks awful I agree. Why would anyone want to hide the calf definition and reduce the top/bottom split is beyond me. Like these sorts of people:

great stage yesterday just a shame it didn't come over how steep it was on TV. You could tell by how slow they were going how bad it was just looked far too flat from all the long shots they used.0

What's happened to the BR ticker? As I'm not up to the task, I've plagiarised Cycling News:
A reminder of the four men out front they are Axel Domont (AG2R La Mondiale), Marek Rutkiweicz (CCC Sprandi), Matej Mohoric (Cannondale-Garmin) and Jérôme Baugnies (Wanty-Groupe Gobert).
They have 3m50s.0 -

90deg bend 250m before finish. Cue Sky riders going down. Win for Sagan?0

The French Carltoine de Kirby spends flat stages meditating on Madiot's existential dilemma: can he truly sacrifice the chances of Pinot, le chosen one, in favour of stage wins from Démare?
He also loves saying 'Fuglsang' giving full value to the crucial middle syllable.

Kristoff is the more match fit, but that bend will help Cavendish who has the best team with him.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Wet roads. BIIIIG crash.
Not that big actually. Stybar + 1 teammate and a Katushka man down.
Clever from Movistar to get in front early.0 -
Sagan may have the skills to get round that wet corner at speed tho.0

All over for Movistar mini break0

Oh yes come on Sagan. Excellent team work to place him perfectly and he never looked in trouble. Kristoff contested but looked like he had legs with weights attached. Cavendish gave up at 400m to go.Contador is the Greatest0

Sagan wins0

Cav well out of position
Sagan easy0 -
Renshaw 2nd wheel looking for Cav who was chilling about 15th wheel. Renshaw should have taken the win solo.
Roelandts 2nd, Kristoff 3rd0 -

Wouldn't be the first classics prospect to trade quality for quantity of wins."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
