Under 2km to go and TenDam is next to have a go (does not last). Matthews still there for OGE.

Sagan made that look easy - technical downhill finish and Moreno could not get round him at the finish line.

Sagan from the front, in a canter, after quite an entertaining last few kms. Matthews in the small front group of about 20. Top ride.

Pinot hasn't missed a beat so far.

The only thing he's lacking going into the TdF is a proper team, especially considering Jeannesson isn't going to be there.

70K or so to go, 5 man break with 2:20

Gilbert DNS today, out of Tour

Philippe Gilbert (BMC) was one of two riders not start today's stage after he was diagnosed with a micro-fracture in his knee. As a result he is not available for the BMC Tour de France team, which will be built around the USA's Tejay van Garderen.

Phil Gil was complaining that he was tired from the Giro & that management still hadn't told him if he was doing the Tour, so no great loss.

40km to go and all back together. All bar Cav and Kristoff, who have lost touch with the peloton, due to the pace being set by OGE. Other sprint favs like Sagan, Degenkolb & Matthews are still there.

30km to go and OGE still drilling it at the front. At the last bonus sprint Dumoulin, Breshel and Thomas took the 3, 2, 1 bonus seconds respectively.

Watching this with Switzerdütsch commentary, which is always amusing.

Cancellara has been at the back of the lead group for a while and now loses touch with 22km to go. OGE still doing the work.

Around 15km to go and Lutsenko (AST) takes off on a solo attack and soon has a 18" gap. Back in the peloton, Degenkolb is already locked on Matthews' back wheel.

    10K, 30s.

Garmindale man goes down on what looks like nothing.
Edit: Moser. Culprit was a branch

BMC now taking it up with 7.5km to go. Lutsenko still has 25".

Edit - road kicks up and the lead disappears just like that! Likely to see a few attacks from here.

Mini break over with 2km to go it looks like it's down to a sprint finish.

    1. Mattews, 2. Sagan, 3. GVA.

Sagan was pretty much forced to take that one out and Matthews timed his effort perfectly. At one point I thought Sagan could go again, but he didn't have the legs.

Sagan went early, overhauled by Matthews but still gets second.

Was a small crash on that last little drag, didn't see who it was though.

Ticker saying that there was a split in the group, which could affect the GC contenders. Dumoulin still has the overall race lead though.

I think the 30min highlights might be enough today folks :D

Rojas crashes in front of Geraint and Dumoulin.
    Both held up.
Big Tom is given the same time, while Thomas loses 18 seconds.
    How does that work?

They may not have gone through all the results and corrected them yet. Dumoulin they will do first as he's the leader.

I didn't watch it. Where was the crash?
