Millar's explanation was that they slipped away in the chaos of the early 19man break that Sky missed. By the time Sky had gained some control, a group of leaders had a gap, were prepared to ride, and too strong for domestiques to bring back....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. If I was in charge, I would make the pace hot on the Croix Fry to reduce the peloton - leaving maybe only one, at most two, teammates with Froome to keep the pace up after the top and have him attack - full on - as soon as they hit that 13% start of penultimate climb.Wonder if SKY will try something on a (wet?) descent tomorrow only for it to be too little, too late.Twitter: @RichN950 -

He's mister unflappable. He'll come tumbling down a mountain on his chin and you wouldn't know it 3 mins later by the way he rides.
