Alberto got a canary earlier this week at his presser. He has a lot of them at home. The people that gave it to him know their cycling history (they were Dutch not English obv)
Sorry, being English I obviously don't know this particular bit of cycling history... Are you just referring to the fact that your favourite cyclist used to breed canaries, or is there some deeper symbolic meaning attached?
Personally, I'm not that interested in celebrity trivia, unless it involves owning a donkey sanctuary for donkeys named after Scottish rock bands....Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
It's just a shame that Oleg Tinkov felt the need take it out of the cage and bite its head off.
if it is on the base of the cage with its legs up Oleg is coming on the team bus0 -

The canaries (and goldfinches) Contador has at home he breeds personally. Meticulous and humble.
And Richard Feynman could syncopate a polyryhthm like no physicist alive, man that cat could swing. But I'm still no clearer about physics, or its history.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -
You've lost me there. Bandying words like that about, what were you thinking.Contador is the Greatest0

Leaving the quantum physics aside for a moment (I find it rather Bohring)
Any suggestions as to ideal vantage points in Utrecht ?
p.s. I have actually seen the Michael Frayn play but it was a bit of a struggle tbh0 -
The Cloggie bashing has to stop. They invented the tea trade, gin, and planet-frying big oil. The English invented the legal doctrine of copyright infringement, but not before they had royally ripped-off the Dutch.
You forgot international law, human rights and if you're to believe the more crazy ones 'peace'.RichN95 wrote:[url=<span class= wrote:Macaloon[/url]"]The Cloggie bashing has to stop. Rembrandt does nothing for me - but I really like Bosch, Van Gogh and Mondrian.
Mondrian is brilliant. What about Avercamp? He's like a Golden Age Where's Wally.frenchfighter wrote:The canaries (and goldfinches) Contador has at home he breeds personally. Meticulous and humble.
Goldfinch you say?

Madiot making a good point saying that the TTT is after all the tough 'classic' stages which could mean a key rider or two for the TTT are taken out. Plus it is a very hard TTT and riders coming in will be pretty tired.Contador is the Greatest0

Froome very relaxed. "I don't know where this idea that I can't ride on cobbles came from: I didn't even see a cobble last year!"“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

The climb at the end of the TTT could spell disaster for a team that loses a climber either through an earlier crash or a mistake. You might be limited by your fastest cobbled rider.

damn i did nt even think of getting the day off and going pro-spotting...
Silly. I was hanging around the lanes of Utrecht's environs yesterday in silly heat and humidity and saw niks.
Today I went to the dunes instead.Correlation is not causation.0 -
