Would love to know some time gaps behind Aru. How face can Special K move up the standings?

Has Landa agreed to give the stage to Kruijswijk? If not, why is he working?

Bert will need to drop Landa a long way out if he wants the stage... Landa will have a tow all the way up otherwise

Have to admire Aru's guts. Bit like in last year's Vuelta, where he worked like a dog to try to stay in contact, he's again showing grit in not just imploding. He's only 24, he's got time on his side as most of the other GC contenders are getting on a bit.

His only problem is Quintana - but he can't do 3 GT in a year, so Aru should get at least in his career. Assuming "events' don't overtake him.

It's a real shame Bertie's going to be over-cooked come July though. Would have been a 4-way punch-up the like of which I don't think the Tour's ever seen...

Feeds going on left right and centre. Has the rule been relaxed today?
2020 Reilly Spectre - raw titanium
2020 Merida Reacto Disc Ltd - black on black
    2015 CAAD8 105 - very green - stripped to turbo bike
    2018 Planet X Exocet 2 - grey

    The departed:

    2017 Cervelo R3 DI2 - sold
    Boardman CX Team - sold
    Cannondale Synapse - broken
    Cube Streamer - stolen
    Boardman Road Comp - stolen

    Amador just took a bottle.

    9km to race. 1.10 to A, H, T and 1.38 to Aru - decent from him.

Unfortunately they are just riding K's wheel the whole way.
edit. Contador taking a few pulls here and there

IMHO attacking the leaders jersey when he has a technical is not good sportsmanship... #Giro

I bet Froome is enjoying this racing. Brailsford's head is exploding however.

Didn't stop Bertie attacking Andy Schlek in the tour a few years ago.

Oh hang on, Bertie wasn't really there was he! :?

Landa Popped. Contador fli*king the elbow immediately after arriving in the wind.

Wow Landa just takes 300m out of those two. But after all he did suck wheels for the last 40km.

Poor sportsmanship from Landa there really. Didn't pull at all then attacks. Least Contador was doing some turns.

Andy being inept of changing gears isn't really a technical is it.

He was never going to do a turn with Aru back down the road.

Konig group coming back to Aru apparently.

Eh, his captain and #2 in the GC was behind him? Had every right to sit wheels.

Yeah but by dropping them both and going for the win he's leapfrogged Aru in the GC anyway, not really helping him.

His team leader was behind though, surely his orders would have been not to work with others to distance Aru. I know they let him go with Contador earlier but I can't see them being happy if he was helping to lose even more time.

Under stand why he didn't ride but no congratulations for his win today.

Massive respect to Kruijswijk - total heavyweight ride.

With that last attack, Landa may well move into 2nd. Before he wasn't.

Aru let him free 40km ago. Did absolutely no harm to Aru doing this.

It's all about Landa on that team now anyway.
