If anybody wonders what Astana were up to, they looked at this second week and profiles like that.

I do it deliberately because it's a reference to this album

They're sponsored by Oakley. Some riders may have their own deals though.

Kelly now on Frenchie's hit list having accused Bertie of milking his 'injury' after claiming he will have to compromise aerodynamics for comfort on his TT bike.

Porte profile shows his weight as 62kg so he must have had a binge on the rest day as I'm sure one expert on here was saying he's 58kg or was it 57kg?

Did any PTPers do any research into the parcours today? Boonen reckons he's in with a shout thanks to the cobbles. From cyclingnews:

With some cobbles in today's finale, Tom Boonen is looking to take a comeback victory following his dislocated shoulder. Boonen has been quiet so far in the Giro but has been outspoken about his desire for a stage win recently.

"I think today will be better for us because it will be just me and Sabatini for the sprint. It's narrow and their is cobbles and I hope that it will be easier for us today," Boonen said ahead of the stage this morning.

Anyone else get the impression that Sean was distracted from commentating by the lady standing on top of the tanker?

It's still likely to be a bunch sprint and Greipel isn't exactly a stranger to cobbles.

Looks like Lotto may have messed their chase up. Break of 5 still has 1' 52" with less than 15km to go and look like they may hold on for a very unlikely breakaway success!
