Yes because he doesn't know what panache is and knows that 57kg climbers typically can put minutes into far heavier riders with solid TT palmares.
are you suggesting he needs to beef up a bit , like berti

Who are we talking about here? Not Uran I hope because we've already established Porte's better CLM than him....
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

  • Jeepers the Eurosport UK commentary is absolutely dire - it actually detracts from the action.

Yeah, I hate when skinny climbers who've been flogging themselves for GC beat specialists.

Yeah, you know that flat courses are different to ones which have a very tough climb on. I was standing on that climb that day and Contador came past so fast I couldn't take a photo. Cancellara came past so slowly I could see the muscles flexing with the effort.

That'll be cos he was up to his eyeballs on juice. And we all know it. Even you.

Is it an award like the Oscars?

    Close. It's a tasty beverage

Ha ha! Someone else found the 'panache' images! Did you get a load of women in bras when you first did an image search? I had to click on the 'drink' option to see these ones.

I feel like I missed out now.

I know he won the TT at paris Nice, but the TT looming is 59.2km. Aru and Porte will come up short - you can quote me on that if you like.

To be fair, if Contador wins this as is, without having to make any move, he won't have won it with panache either, he'll have won it with a marginally better TTT than Aru.

There's another 2 weeks to go.

FWIW, Tyler Hamilton Rode on in 2003 with a broken Clavicle... and we know he was juiced to the max. 'What a hero' blah bullsh1t blah. Why would AC feign an injury? He would require the collusion of a doctor - a race doctor at that.

I think Rochembach should have given Intxausti a slap for faking it.

AC weaved across the road more than once in response to Aru's attacks. Did not look like he was comfortable and if he was 100%, I think he would have had a go at Aru. AC was probably a little exposed as SaxTin made a huge effort on stage 7.

To be fair I feel it might be pertinent to say I might have got 'bras' because of my browsing history, oh that doesn't sound very good. Ummm, I've been internet shopping. Anyway as you were everyone.
