quite ironic that you include a Swedish rock band! how am i going to cope without Euro rock! just gonna make do with Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Radiohead ect ect ect........ oh how will i cope!;););)
It won't be the same without the likes of Aqua, Sabrina and Plastic Bertrand.
Dont forget Falcao and that musical giant Jonny Holliday! ;);;)
But, but, but don't forget about Showaddywaddy, Shaking Stevens, 911, Steps etc.
yes, but your quoting the worst of British music, Im quoting the best of euro trash! ;)
🤣Fair play. If that is what you think is the best of the continent you're welcome to Led Zeppelin. Rock on Tommy.
Sigh - agreed! Musical illiterati resurface with their ignorant views on artistic endeavour, as though it’s a football match. Same people would have given ABBA null points in Brighton in 1972 for ‘Waterloo’...😂
I think they were being very much tongue in cheek 🤣

I put some Neu! on just to lessen my outrage 🤣

Abba and Kraftwerk, I'll give you, but U2? Successful, yes but nowhere near great imo, although I accept ymmv.
If there was a thread for vastly overrated bands, U2 would be getting my vote.

Can you finally admit to being a brexiter from the start?
Nope. But regardless of your view on the subject, it is a bit of a final countdown isn't it.

Maybe after this you can get on with stuff rather than spending another 4 years crying over spilt milk?
Jees as I said hey over it. You won.

If you believed we were now living in utopia you would get on and enjoy it rather than sprouting a continuous load of bile.

I'll raise you Lordi and Los del Rio.
I`ll see you and raise you 2unlimited and pitbull!
The bird out of 2 Unlimited was fit though. I saw the most recent incarnation of them in 2019 at a 90s rewind concert (minus the fit female singer) and they were dire, just shouting over a backing track. Saying that the same was true of most of the acts that night, Ace of Bass chief among them who were like a really sh.it pub tribute act.

    🤣

What a stupid petition as it is coming from the wrong side.

This EU rule would become obsolete within weeks if the biggest bands announced European wide tours but excluded any country that upheld this rule. The local backlash against the politicians would quickly see this changed.

If I’d been interested in a binary “my dad’s bigger than your dad” I’d have referenced classical music!

Anyhow, the ‘winning side’ has made it a little bit harder for touring UK musicians to ply their trade. In the context of this debate it’s a strange win.

Yes, none of the issues will be insurmountable I suspect, but it will be an additional level of uncertainty, paperwork and cost for people in an industry already decimated by COVID. Can’t see much of an upside for these performers unfortunately.

Europeans touring the UK only need agreements (paperwork, visa, etc) for one country. UK touring orchestra, for instance, potentially require this for each country.

I don’t know why you think there will be no opportunities - I just mentioned that it’s a little more difficult for everyone.

I’ll leave it there, as you’re just trolling now.

quite ironic that you include a Swedish rock band! how am i going to cope without Euro rock! just gonna make do with Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Radiohead ect ect ect........ oh how will i cope!;););)
Same people would have given ABBA null points in Brighton in 1972 for ‘Waterloo’...😂
on a serious note, ABBA, Kraftwerk , U2 , are some of Europes great musical exports! however if this is a p*ssing competition between UK and Euro music I fear your gonna be on the losing side again! ;)

Abba and Kraftwerk, I'll give you, but U2? Successful, yes but nowhere near great imo, although I accept ymmv.
If there was a thread for vastly overrated bands, U2 would be getting my vote.
I agree U2 are overrated although their early stuff was better! but I was struggling to get 3! :D

I don't know how this could have happened, but it seems a government minister is telling porkies.

Why don’t Brexiters get annoyed by the lying from people like Lewis?

They’re lying to you as well.
