Can the pressure on him be ramped up so he trips over properly?

Yes, Boris being Boris, he is aiming to get on the first Jeremy Kyle show when it returns.

His only proviso is that they mustn't ask him to be the one to take a lie detector test.

She'll be back! She hasn't got the CDs.

Getting back to Alexander Kerfuffle Johnson, it's going to be fascinating watching his antics in number 10. I understand we'll have to get used to Steve Bannon and Nigel Farage paying regular visits to keep him on message.

    I hope it's a good Camembert that's well matured.

Eurgh. If you've ever smelt 'retained cleansing' (i.e. rotting afterbirth) on a recently calved cow, you'll now that it small just the same as Stinking Bishop. I've no idea why anyone would want to eat it.

I have actually tried a bit after being intrigued by the references in 'Wallace and Gromit'. Smells vile but strangely tastes OK.

No Camembert - Very French, very squidgy and rather apt.

I too tried it once, and yes, the cheese itself is OK, but I decided thenceforth to leave the experience to others who might not know of the alternative source of the stink. It's the brine-washing that does it.

I didn't know that. Maybe they should use chlorine instead?

It's been a while but I reckon a whiff would take me straight back to my Dad arriving back from a calving midway through lunch.

So Hunt explaining the manufacturing firm he visited would be wiped out by no deal Brexit and then saying “but we’d still have to do it because that’s what people voted for” is a punchy line for the apparently pro-business candidate...

I had a similar speech from a boss as the company was being shut down and everyone redundant.
"Well, I've got a Porsche and the house is paid for so things aren't that bad".
His wife found out about his affair with his P.A. and took him to the cleaners.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

At least he is laying it out rather than just pretending there are no consequences to leaving without a deal.

The warnings of how bad Corbyn would be for business are starting to sound a wee bit hollow.

That's a low-key warning to people ahead of delivering a second vote - it's basically a threat. I'm absolutely convinced of it.

Some interesting thoughts on the interim report from the Alternative Arrangements Committee

    https://mobile.twitter.com/davidheniguk ... 2130494464

It (the report) knocks the idea of no deal being compatible with an open border firmly on the head. And proposes what is effectively a British Isles single market. There are still plenty of holes to be filled/sewn up but at least one bunch of Brexiters are trying to come up with a solution.

So, essentially it turns a UK domestic law issue into something that requires positive collaboration and contribution from Ireland, despite its pro-EU views. Great.

Surely means there would need to be customs checks at the Irish border with the EU, which they'll never accept... Why would they?

Some of this was suggested by the UK in 2017, but was not accepted by the EU.
