I'll kick off with coverage of the first women's Strada Bianchi from RAI

another second place for Lizzie Armistead after last week's OHN (couldn't find any coverage of that when I looked). The women's race covered 17km of gravel tracks and this is where American Megan Guarnier made her move in a long solo break to the finish. Armistead showed her strength on the short, steep climb to Siena getting a few seconds on Longo Borghini and Ashley Moolman. Boels Dolmans are shaping up to be one of the top womens teams for 2015 and Longo Borghini was a good signing for Wiggle Honda.

    Not much racing action to be honest: solo breakaway from a small group on one of the final gravel sections doesn't get pulled back and so rider gets to climb almost deserted Siena streets to the finish line.

    Just see a link to this on twitter. That's got to be deliberate, and an absolute disgrace if so. Hopefully they find the idiot who did it and sort him out.

    Although it doesn't look great, I find it hard to believe it was deliberate. The guy was pounding enthusiastically on the hoardings as the riders approached. I think it's more likely that he got carried away, with awful consequences.

    Agree. When you see the slo-mo out of context it looks deliberate, but if you check him out before he's just banging away on the hoardings and not really paying attention.

    It's odd how we see the same incident differently. To me it's a deliberate act, even when trying to give him the benefit of the doubt in slo-mo. His arm has a far more pronounced movement on that one occasion only and he appears to be banging the boards throughout

    Looks to me like it's the bald guy in the crowd although can't be sure. In the last frame before it cuts away to the close-up of Lauren it looks like he is starting to move away.
