The humps were a bit bigger than that:
The one that Matt didn't do

I could do that, at walking pace. The footage would be rather dull, unless sped up 16x and put to Benny Hill music

Benny Hill and his slap head sidekick. Interesting parallel there V68.

You want to get those pot holes reported to the local council, you could loose your wheel in some of them!

By the way that's terrible group riding (no wonder no one wants to come with you) You didn't point down at hazards once for anyone half wheeling you!

Footage never does justice, you just have to 2x in head
You're right Pesky, it does look pants. Matt got it off his phone as an MP4 file but I've got no idea how to turn it into something that can be linked to as I'm an IT thicko.

I live in Norfolk, that profile looks utterly terrifying.

Fair play. Did you do enter the dragon if Mathew H didn't then? I defo couldn't do it! The YouTube link doesn't do it justice

Yep, me and my mate did Enter The Dragon while matt did a red run. We weren't as good as that youtube link - eg we didn't clear those big tabletops at the start but landing them flat isn't a problem on a DH bike. But we're working up to clearing them, just need bigger bollox. The Dragon and the jump run (A470 line) are our favourite runs at BPW.

Its the gaps that look scary to me. Think Rockmonkey put up a pic somewhere of one of the jumps and it looked huuuge from the side. I've never been BPW, have to go this summer.

The gap jumps are optional apart from on the 'Pro Lines' which are the double black runs. The one in the Youtube link where he stacked it on his first go is optional, though I confess I don't do that one - yet

But you wouldn't start on that run anyway, just start on a blue or a red and work your way up. Even the blacks tend to only have a couple of tricky bits with no chicken run, which you can always walk round when nobody's looking :) The trail guide on the BPW website has some sample clips for most of the trails to give you an idea.

BTW the point of this thread is to get a visit sorted for 26th June, if you fancy having a crack with people who at least know the routes even if they can't ride them very well :P

You're on the list mate. I'll drop people a line when we can book up (online booking at BPW only goes 3 months ahead). Matt survived on a hard tail with the help of 'Stevo's Top Tips' so you'll be fine :)

I resisted Veronese's suggestion to not give you the tips and ride behind you with a GoPro

    You on for 26th June?

@Matt h and Pesky - there will be other trips, will let you know.

That reminds me, Arran and his brother said they might be interested. I'll see if I can drag him out of self imposed exile.

Update: we're booked in for Friday 8th May as well. It was fully booked but they've just released some more places on the uplift if anyone can make it :)

Mallorca on the roadie otherwise that would have been a practice with the mud for softer landings

Probably be dry by May - it drains pretty well even in winter. Mallorca sounds like a good alternative 8)

South Wales has to be the fake tan capital of the UK. When we go out for a pint there on our little gravity jaunts, it's like we've wandered onto the set of 'Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory' as the pub appears to be full of overweight Oompah-Loompahs.
