The mystery of where they hide the hidden motor has been solved.

See now, I thought that and just thought April Fool...are they really serious?!?

By pure coincidence (at least that's what I've told my wife) I'm in Brugge on Sunday, does anyone know the area/street name of the starting area of RVV? Found plenty of route maps and accessibility advice but most seems to be aimed at key points or the finish.

    Thanks in advance.

Here's last year's roadbook. I guess it's basically the same start this year:

  • Always the grote market, aye. There's a band and ceremonial sign in for a couple of hours before too

I propose a calendar change. Move E3 to Sunday and hold Gent-Wevelgem on Good Friday, whenever that happens to be.

    I support this motion.

A chipper on a Sunday is wrong

Some definite race favourites there, with the Duchess a strong outsider.

The Duchess suffers from not having the right equipment (glass) though. Also a neo-pro to my palate. But it is local to the RVV course I believe.

Well done! I like how you've replaced Christian Knees with a Duvel.

You credit me with far more thinking than I actually did.

It's an extra strong 'limited edition' Tripel Duvel though.

I love it, but I'm into the sour beers. If you like the Rodenbach you'll like the Duchesse.
It's certainly within a couple of km of the course.

    Does that amount to doping?

Is it extra strong, or extra hopped?

To be honest, I'm of the opinion that it isn't possible to improve a normal Duvel...

Bloody hell that'll knock the socks of Christian Knees' puppet.

Both it seems. It says 'Tripel Hop - Extra Intens Gehopt', but it's also 9.5% as opposed to the usual 8.5%. By the end of the race I intend to be well and truly gehopt.

Yeah, but I can buy that in Tesco. I made the trip to Cardiff's best beer shop to get different stuff.

Oh the special edition Duvel's are still well worth trying. :-)

Discount Supermarket, 99 Whitchurch Road, Cardiff.
It looks like a bog standard corner shop, but it's an Aladdin's cave.

What's the plan here? I don't get it? They are wearing these during the race or just around town? Rapha, sort it out.

It's just a jersey Rapha are selling. Sky aren't going to race in them. There are going to be French, Italian and Spanish ones as well.
