  • Doesn't look too bad - but it's very steep and caught riders out

    Sete?

Mont St Clair - I went up it last year rode along the coast path from Cap D'Agde. Bizarrely I was going to post a pic of that same climb yesterday but couldn't find a pic of the road with the cross at the top.

That was quick! - yes nice cycle path - saw the 2012 Tour there - Cavendish got dropped and Lotto leathered it all the way to Cap d Agde to set Greipel up for the win

That's on the Angliru. 2011 Vuelta. Poels, Froome, Wiggins, Menchov and someone else in green.

  • It's Rodriguez in the green.

OK so this is just one I did on holiday - it's a Tour cat 2 so no real claim to fame but it's a nice area to ride so maybe someone here has ridden it and recognises this place.

Pretty certain it’s the Col du Fut d’Avenas, the ascent from the SE (Villie-Morgon).
If so, it was the pull-in/viewpoint with the table d’orientation which gave me the clue, about 1 km short of the top.

Presuming I'm right about the above Fut d’Avenas, so it's my go, here's a not too hard one

The hairpins and bollards look Swiss, but the landscape not so much. No clue

Quite right! It's the old pass road as it descends to Airolo. This was taken on a Thursday late morning in the first half of September, and I think I only encountered 2 cars and 2 motorbikes on the descent, but by contrast about 8 bikes.
