The women's? a genius.
Hang on, isn't that 1 someone told you on page 1?
Plus you say you've gone up to 85kg? Without eating much? I eat a ton of food and am fat and only weigh 88kg!?!?
Do you do any other form of exercise apart from riding a bike?
Maybe you should try this guy's diet, he only eats once a week and is almost as coherent as you. Try a few pages.

Doesn't look like an appealing read, would like to give it a miss if that's okay .. if you've got any articles on how people have improved their fitness through cycling or have gotten started in to bike riding etc I would like to have a read.0 -

Normal? I think normal for me is 2 meals a day, for some it's more. Other thing is regarding energy, you can't prove it though, not many people can. I can understand when you're weak and if you eat a little bit you get stronger. Like for example, when I have had a fever overnight or during the day, I become ill, take a paracetamol which is everyones solution to a problem these days, go to sleep and sweat it out. Then would wake up and have a cup of tea, have 1 slice of toast and go to sleep again or play on internet. But when you're fully recovered, under eating and overeating is a disease so it's best to strike a balance in the middle isin't it? Too much eating and training only 3 times a week can lead to someone being overweight and too little can be as some of you have told me, malnourished and weak and frail.
I feel happy eating 2 meals a day, but not happy with the fact that I'm now very weak and have been so last 6 months so, should my only solution be to start eating and should this be the only solution or is it to maybe play a little with what I eat like maybe have more meat? I am going to try the meat option but have to be very careful because I practice spirituality and don't want to develop a hot temper from excess consumption of meat, it will affect me and has done in the past where I have had anger fits as a result of eating meat.0 -

What the hell do you mean a lack of energy can't be proven to be caused by not eating enough?
It's a simple equation,
energy in=energy out
Your body takes in energy from food. It uses a certain amount just to keep you alive, what's left is all you can use for other activities (walking, cycling, hunting, reproduction, praying etc) If you don't take on enough energy through food then you stop working.
Try driving your car 200 miles on a litre of fuel, the results will be the same.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Maybe someone could turn the stupid f**ker off and on again then. Although a machine would work on logic so i think you might be wrong.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Out of the nuts and seeds, I have the pumpkin seeds, around 2 small packs per week. They're very delicious but heavy aswell in a source of something, it helps aid in digestion so when I go to the loo it helps a lot. Out of nitrates I have plenty of spinach in my smoothies and currys and some occasional celery. And a bit of everything else in the food groups, 2 cups of coffee per day with 1 sugar and minimal milk, sometimes if I got some change extra or feel up to it I get a cappucino with no sugars. But I've wasted enough money this week on junk food. Just spent £21 on petrol today and £10 on fish and chips and £10 so far this week on lunch and coffee at work.
My estimated spend per year on junk or take out food is around £480 and healthy vegetable, salad and organic food shopping around £1000 per year and a new estimate for this years meat intake will be around £176 if I decide to eat a small leg of lamb x 2, twice a month. So it's all adding up know what I mean. There's nothing as cost efficient as running a bike though I've realised which can be used for small jobs around town and local and having fun. I guess I could fit a pannier rack on my Boardman if I wanted to carry some extra weight like shopping, now that I've sold my bag to a foreigner on eBay in Lithuania. Can that be done, a pannier rack on a MTB? I'm paying off for my iPhone 6 in monthly installments of £51.53 but that was a necessity as needed a new phone, working for the things we need. Can't wait for things to fall from the sky now can I.
A few years ago, I loved riding. I was 17 then, and 9 stones. Would ride in all weathers.
But I'm not sulking, doesn't mean I can't be 9 stones again or around 10-10.5 stones which is my ideal weight.0 -

cars and humans run different, cars are run on natural resources and ignition from the engine i.e fire and oil and pistons while human body is different, it has a soul inside it. We can feed the body it's water and food but what drives the body to move and think is the spirit within, and the food for that is worship. You might think oh you're an Atheist and you don't worship so how come you can still do things and move about freely? it's because you're soul was designed for eternal life so it must run forever, you were not created to just die and turn in to dust. There has to be more to life than, eat sleep work and die. Don't you ever think of these things? we were created to live forever either in hell or in the gardens of paradise. So the soul is designed to keep the body moving, we just don't see it, well scientists can't but ordinary people like me can.0 -

I have energy because i eat properly. If i go on an epic 50 mile off road ride without preparing by eating right for a couple days and taking in calories during the ride i end up running out of energy and my bloof sugar crashes causing an almighty migraine and sickness.
Your body is like a car, it's a machine that needs energy to run, a car gets calories from petrol, your body gets calories from food (not water or praying), without that energy it won't work.
Your body doesn't last forever, have you never seen an old person? Their body is worn out, it's not a magic thing, it has a finite life and needs fuel.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

You might be right end of the day, but so are many other people who have different views and have tried different things. I don't understand how you can explain this, there are people and famous people who eat 1 meal a day and drink water but, it doesn't affect them in a negative way. Some people need to eat more. Genetically because of how our ancestors have treated their bodies in the past, we have been born with deficiencies and abnormal hormones which don't produce intelligently anymore. So, before all this happened which I'm assuming at the turn of the processed food developing century, anyone who would have tried the 1 meal a day diet could have sussed it and survived on it. But why can't people do it now? it's puzzling for me. However, I know that it works if you're constantly active, otherwise I've come to the conclusion that 2 meals is better to avoid any further complications.
Most of the people I know eat less, but in my place of work for example, I have a colleague who just eats 2 meals a day, small meals and drinks plenty of water. He's increasing in weight and weighs around 13 stone and he's not that tall I'd say around 5ft5". But what he eats during the day and has done for the past year is Co-op pasta tubs which are around 500 cals and a takeout on the odd occasion. I think if he substituted the pasta for maybe a sandwhich or a jacket potato and did some moderate exercise 3-4 times a week, he would be thin in no time. He tried the gym for a week, but left after having no motivation. In the evenings he goes to the place of worship and is learning to memorise the final revelation which he's done from cover to cover and is 114 chapters long, honestly don't know where he gets mind power to do that from, must be inspiration.
I often come across people on my way out and about and have questioned them about their diet and why they are thin. Most of them just say they are thin because they are vegetarians and walk alot but they never really tell me how much they eat. I've realised now you hardly get any power from veg food, even some meat food but, I think vegetarians have to constantly eat like gorillas and apes to get there energy but it's puzzling. I was on the canal a couple of year ago and met a walker coming back from Leeds and asked him the direction to Leeds, he pointed me in the direction he came and so I asked him if he walked all the way from there he said yeah and it's his 3rd hour walking, takes 4 hours in total to do 14 miles. Unless he was lying? is that possible, 14 miles in 4 hours or does it take less than that?
When I go to worship at the place of worship, there's a guy who I have made friends with, and he's so thin and when I've asked them about their diet habits, they've simply responded by saying, "oh I can't put weight on and I eat and eat and can't gain weight." Then I look at all the walking he does and the amount of fat food he eats, something like a pizza once every few months but most of the time it's chapattis and curry. And he eats from sun up till sun down and is about 8 stone. How do you explain that then? I'm assuming it must be genetics gone wrong somewhere. But then again a lot of people are like that. A lot of girls are slim from birth and throughout the entirety of their lives. It's genetically proven women stay thinner longer than men because as you're growing your body stretches as you grow taller but soon as you stop, your body expands outwards = increase in weight and fat. Not for majority of women, they stay thin. How does Evolution explain that one then?
I guess I'll have to start eating more, sticking to 2 meals a day but going to consume a little more than I would providing that what's on the plate is nutritional. I feel as though I should be eating more meat to add some strength and variation to my diet and will do it. I prefer lamb as people say it;s organic and not in a factory farm as they graze on grass all day in free space.
I had a review with my GP today, didn't say much and the topic of diet never came up in the discussion, I forgot to mention it. I remained like an ascetic.

Why do you even bother asking people about their diet and why they are thin because you dont listen to anything anyone says and you believe your body is powered by pixies and not food so why would you believe your body gets fatter because you eat crap? Surely you're getting fat because you believe in pixies and fairies so much you are filling up like a balloon.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0
