I CBA to quote Cody as it was too long. But where did it say Ol'Greg doesn't work? I know for a fact (he's my brother) that he has a very good job :?

I think you just read and assume what you like from most posts in here.

Indeed I do. I work for a National Museum full of dinosaur bones, exhibitions on the big bang and things that are millions of years old. All sciency and that...........

    Cody - were there dinosaurs?
  • I was wondering if this could go to a hundred pages and yes, I think it will after that last post.

What a silly question. Of course there were. Didn't you see the documentary? With actual live footage.

In reality he would have pulled his gun from his 'cold dead hand' and shot her.

Cody and Ken Ham have a lot in common.

    Which is quite scary.

I was thinking the same last night. How its possible to get to 100 pages from what is essentially "should I ride my bike or sell it" I will never know.

From working with both a Mormon and a fossil hunter, I know Mormons believe that fossils were put there by god to test their faith

I particularly like this spanking that Ken Ham took from Bill Nye on the subject of Noah's ark...

So drinking alcahol doesn't lead to rape and murder aswell? Look around you, look at the statistics.

Good on ya ol gregg, it keeps ya occupied, keeps ya motivation going and gives you a purpose to live. Science is fascinating stuff, I will be studying it carefully more over the years, I want to get to the point like my friend, who can study anything and everything and absorb anything, but better to absorb what is useful and discard what is useless as one will benefit better this way. Maybe you could do the same too. In ya spare time do a bit of reading, maybe on religion and science and do a bit of writing. Combine the two and your mental health will improve significantly. Religion really interests me because it explains the origin of the universe.

It explains one belief to the beginning of the universe. If I wrote a book saying I believed the universe began when a space monster got drunk and puked up existence, it doesn't make it any more right than the Bible stating that God created everything in 6 days and chilled on the 7th.

What I enjoy about science is the constant questioning 'Why?'

What a patronising response to anyone.

Absorb what is useful and discard what is useless - good job your mum didn't apply the same logic. How can you attempt to determine what is useless from all of the facets of science? That is, in a nutshell, your problem Cody. You think you can cherry pick science to fit your nut job belief system and ignore the bits that blatantly go against it. Science is science, it is fact not fiction, it is purity not a muddy puddle.

I can honestly say Cody that when I've been drunk ive never attempted to rape or kill anyone!

You are 1 deluded little boy.

Have you ever been drunk Cody? I honestly can't see how you can be so opinionated about things you don't have first clue about!

Why do you keep going to the doctors? Can't you just pray it'll get better?

This is my 3rd cold/flu with fever in 1 year so far from Jan 2014 up till now. I've not taken medication for either of the episodes. Instead I've just substituted them for lemon, honey and water and it's gone well. But if it was severe like I couldn't bear the pain from a fever or from putting a wet towel on my forehead, I'd have no choice but to take paracetamol. I'm not a big believer in pharmaceutical drugs. But if I have no other option, then so be it. At the moment I need to be seen further by the doctor, my consultant believed it was a chest infection with a burst blood vessel. Otherwise I'm fine.
