I think most if not all told you to eat a normal varied diet and consume enough calories to ride a bike  Energy comes from food which you have an aversion to. Motivation comes from within. This has been explained numerous times over the last 60 pages of drivel.0 -

All I have to say on the existence of God is based on the following quote from a book that means a lot to me“Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mind-bogglingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as the final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God.
The argument goes something like this: "I refuse to prove that I exist,'" says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing."
"But," says Man, "The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED."
"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.
"Oh, that was easy," says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing.”0 -

Look Cody,
Your way off the mark mate, I suggest you stop watching that rubbish on Youtube and get out and enjoy life. Stop quoting your religion on here as its not wanted by the majority. This is about bikes and riding nothing else, please stick to the subject.
I cant believe anyone in the right mind would quote ANY religion on here and all your doing is stirring up sh%t.GIANT XTC 2.5

You say you wanted advice on riding bikes but wont listen to the advice which says you have to go and ride bikes to get better at riding them and you have to feed the machine to get it to work (machine being your body). But you dont like that advice.
You say you want to talk about bikes but you dont because you have no interest in them and no passion for riding. You seem to have one of the dreariest lives I have ever heard described in print. Good luck to you but I am out.rgliniany wrote:Eat 3 balanced meals a day..... with all of the food groups if you are not a vegetarian... ask your brother to help you since you tell us he is like a greek god stature wise.....
go out and ride your bike..... for more than 30 mins.... more than round the park.... try and find people better than you at riding... it will make you push yourself to be better.... (I do this..... it really works)....
it is as easy as that......
To be honest, I weighed myself at the doctors this morning when I went for a blood test. I feared for my life so I had to get the nurse to ask me some questions whilst the needle was raping the blood out. That's just as difficult as bike riding. Anyway, I weighed myself, and as a result of eating between 1 and 2 meals a day, I now weigh 85kgs, whereas 6 months before I was at 79kgs.
I blame myself really. Nurse said I shouldn't be eating 2 meals a day, she said I should have a breakfast, lunch and supper which is 3 meals a day and do some light to medium exercise in between. I know you've given me some great advice in the past few pages Paul, I really appreciate that and I will go back and read at some point, just a tad busy at work. It's not as easy as what the guy above is saying, this begs the question, where does the motivation come from if you've not exercised for 7 years!
Some of you have mentioned in the past few pages it's about passion and riding with other riders in places where it's nice, try longer routes, ride at night and get some lights like you said. Paying £600 for a bike is a lot to people these days, for me especially because if I'm not making use out of it it's just sat there getting devalued everyday more and more and if I used it regular I wouldn't be bothered so much what I paid for it providing it does the job and made the most use of it, know what I mean. Come spring, summer time I know I will ride more, it will be daylight after 6 and I'll have a chance to ride properly. I've only just started after a long time, I don't want to do too much and give up suddenly.
Ideally I want to be vegetarian or 75% which is what I am now but with the occasional bit of meat once in a while. I don't like meat and chicken, I prefer meat roasted and a small join from lamb when it's the time of month to have it. We can't be 100% vegetarians, we have two kinds of teeth veg and canine for eating meat. Imagine a lion on a vegan diet, he'd have hunger pangs every other day. I think 100% vegans are strict and are extremists in their practice, it's better to eat what the body was designed to eat but less of it and more of a mixture if that makes sense. So eat meat but less and not so often but diferrent types if it's healthy.
And at work all I have around me is takeaways and burger bars and a co-op which sells sandwhiches and a bakery next door which isin't so pleasant their quality of food. I chop and change and am not really seeing results.
Right now I'm 26, I should be involved in making progress as far as my diet and exercise is concerned and be involved with a diet and exercise or cycling regime which or where the cycling I do is strictly designed, to get results. Just can't get out there and do it, need to make some sacrifices in my life man.0 -

What the f*ck are you talking about - a lot overweight? Which photos? I couldn't see any, only seen the 2014 blog which has a video of her and her decorations inside the tent. I could tell somewhat from her facial structure she has not a lot of facial fat and this is probs because she rides a lot, but otherwise I assumed she looked overweight under all the baggage.0 -

I'd like to think that I'll loose loads of weight if I just stuck to 2 meals a day. Combined with exercise which will give me my distinct charm and character and ideal looks, not that I'm too bothered about my looks but would just like to lose a couple of inches of fat from my face and look nice before I get married, I've got quite big cheeks.
Do you do any other form of exercise apart from riding a bike?0 -

Maybe you should try this guy's diet, he only eats once a week and is almost as coherent as you. Try a few pages.

Normal? I think normal for me is 2 meals a day, for some it's more. Other thing is regarding energy, you can't prove it though, not many people can. I can understand when you're weak and if you eat a little bit you get stronger. Like for example, when I have had a fever overnight or during the day, I become ill, take a paracetamol which is everyones solution to a problem these days, go to sleep and sweat it out. Then would wake up and have a cup of tea, have 1 slice of toast and go to sleep again or play on internet. But when you're fully recovered, under eating and overeating is a disease so it's best to strike a balance in the middle isin't it? Too much eating and training only 3 times a week can lead to someone being overweight and too little can be as some of you have told me, malnourished and weak and frail.
I feel happy eating 2 meals a day, but not happy with the fact that I'm now very weak and have been so last 6 months so, should my only solution be to start eating and should this be the only solution or is it to maybe play a little with what I eat like maybe have more meat? I am going to try the meat option but have to be very careful because I practice spirituality and don't want to develop a hot temper from excess consumption of meat, it will affect me and has done in the past where I have had anger fits as a result of eating meat.0
