I don't. It's that horrible female voice over that sounds like some embalming expert.

" [x] is making a Mediterranean rice pavlova with a delicate sprinkling of Jojoba nuts steeped in Goats urine with a fine side sorbet of carbuncle oils fragranced with shaloopahoppa petals from Newport pagnell..."
    I mean, ffs.

Then the arrogance of the presenters...

After that, the heavily elongated pauses between announcing who's 'leaving us'.

Possibly, but claiming celebrity status for some of these none entities is stretching the definition to breaking point. I asked my youngest daughter who's 21 and she hardly knew any of them either.
Same here, my 18 yo doesn't know most of them either. Mind you you, one of them starred in 'Quadrophenia' so not exactly a current celeb.

Celebrity anything. I'm hard pressed to work out who nearly all these people are when unlucky enough to flick onto a channel with this sort of bilge on. That's why they have to explain to people what the has-been does, or did ages ago.

Although ironically I quite like the regular Masterchef.
I find myself watching MasterChef and disagreeing with the judges even though they're actually tasting the food and I'm just looking at pictures.

Ironically I'm a bit crap at cooking. Might be a bit of culinary wannabe-ism for me. I usually disagree when it's something I really would or wouldn't like anyway rather than whether I think the contestant has done a good job or not.

The Johnny Depp court case to save his reputation.

It's a car crash isn't it though? Neither of them comes out of it very well but Amber Heard seems positively vile. Be interesting to see the verdict.

It is funny watching witness after witness state that she had no injuries after these claimed events. She is a proper nutcase.

Still, after a quick skim of the BBC's report, you would wonder whether you are talking about the same events.

Not that the BBC would ever have an agenda, mind.

Johnny Depp is doing a public service for all the men out there who've been victims of women like that.

I've had the RC racist and bigot badges (not sure if I've had the homophobe one yet) and I'm embarrassed it's taken so long to get the misogynist one. An oversight on my my part I admit.

It's a significant issue if you are the person on the wrong side of the false allegations I would have thought. Whilst it is probably far less common than genuine cases of domestic abuse that don't get reported mud sticks and there must be a lot of people out there who have had their lives ruined by false allegations even if they don't get the same level of attention as Depp who may or may not have done some of the things claimed.

It's also potentially an issue for the genuine victims if people start to become cynical in their view of allegations.

I suspect there is under reporting of male victims of domestic violence as the perception is that the man is stronger so can defend himself. I think that argument should be challenged as it is unhelpful and doesn't consider the psychological part.

In my sample size of three domestic violence cases I have witnessed. It was two female victims and one male.

I'm not sure that is nickice's angle though as he appears to be talking about false allegations.

Sure, I'm just questioning whether men being the victims of lying manipulative women is any different from men being the victims of lying and manipulative men, women being the victims of lying and manipulative men, or women being the victims of lying and manipulative women. Does incidence vary by gender? Or are they just a number of lying and manipulative people, some of whom - let's say roughly half - are women?

The daily roundup of the Heard, so to speak.
Today, not so much about defamation as defecation.
An Amber Heard is now guaranteed to be added to the lexicon of Cockney rhyming slang. :D

Maybe the Russians hacked their polling before the last election and told them that "Stop Brexit without a second ref" was a good idea. More likely they were just inept though.
