I've just driven past the local army ordnance depot.

The soldier on the gate was wearing full camo fatigues, but has on a hi-vis belt.

The Johnny Depp court case to save his reputation.

It's a car crash isn't it though? Neither of them comes out of it very well but Amber Heard seems positively vile. Be interesting to see the verdict.
Johnny Depp is doing a public service for all the men out there who've been victims of women like that.
Court finds Depp is indeed a wife beater. So he’s not the victim here.

    Huh?

After weeks of revelations and accusations in court about his personal relationships, actor Johnny Depp's mammoth legal action against The Sun for libel has come to an end - with a judgement expected at the end of the summer.

That's the latest I can see.
    Irony, not so much.

Whatever the result, I admire his balls in having his troubled personal life described in court and consequently the media. If I were him, and even if I weren't a wife beater, I probably would have just left it.

You do realise that reads as if you are a wife beater?
    Time for an edit methinks.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Therein lies a caveat though - The title includes the word 'assumptions'.

Do you not see any irony in the African American Museum making assumptions about race? Particularly some of the aspects that they highlight as being 'white'

Have to say that while I see the irony I cannot see a single aspect that was not evident while over there.

What I couldn't work out, due to lack of context, is whether it is them making the assumption or if it is part of a display saying and is based on something previously published. Either way it seems to have gone over the head of the person who made the Tweet.

I don't blame the individuals but England signing up foreigners is not good for the future of international cricket.

There's Irony in there: If you come from a smaller nation, the better you are, the more likely you'll switch allegiances.

I'm going to go all out to find a relative in the Solomon Islands and see if I can't get a ride in the World's.

Let them strike: good way of selecting who to chop in the near future. You don't want employees with a bad attitude when clearly this is down to exceptional circumstances.
