    WOOOO OLEG IS LAUGHING

ROE is insane. Showing clinical and boring Brailsford how to run a team.

    Riis is the master.

    BOOOOOOOM

    Congratulations Majka, Congratulations Tinkoff

Stage win and massive lead in polka dot jersey.

Very slow average speed at 34.7 km/h.

Great ride Valverde, shows he has the guts to keep riding and steals a few seconds to keep his 2nd place.

Disappointingly small amount of gaps in GC.

Schleck 10th! How'd that happen? He might just keep his job.

Nibs drops DeMarchi with a high cadence attack! Doper! Doper! They'll cry!!

Fair play to Rafa for that

Have to say that Frank Schleck's ride this tour had been outstanding!

    Duh.
That is between the two fastest predicted schedules.
How fast are they supposed to climb 4 steep cols, with only 50kms of flat?
Majka is doing his best Landis on the line impression as it it.

I'm impressed but he's still 13 minutes away from the real racing ... Not bad for someone coming back into the peleton this year with the weight of his brother to deal with too.

Very impressive from Majka considering he's already riddent the Giro and didn't know he was riding the Tour until the last minute.

Going to be a very close battle for the podium tomorrow and Saturday. Peraud seems to be the second strongest rider at the moment and AG2R arguably have the strongest team.

Nibali is in a different league but when you look at his performances in context it's nothing out of the ordinary. He's beating guys like Valverde by 50 seconds and couldn't quite distance Peraud today.

Is Nibali towing Péraud into second?

I'd calm down a bit. We've seen this kind of thing before and it often ends badly. Hopefully not.

See that Konig had a bad day and is out of the Top 10. That's a shame...

Are Péraud and Bardet actually on the same team? Doesn't seem like it some of the time!

With Nibali looking after JC, Bardet has the freedom to chance his arm.

To be honest mate at the start of the tour, i'd have expected im to be something like 1 hr and 13mins away from the racing by now...

I'm so glad that we're seeing Valverde grimly hanging on to a podium spot by following wheels everyday rather than Quintana and Nibali tearing it up.

    Thanks Movistar
