Break have picked up a little.

Seems crazy for NetApp to burn their riders off now when they could be looking after Konig on the last climb.

You can understand why the peloton wouldn't want the likes of Nieve to gain a silly advantage like 8-9 minutes. But chasing hard when they're within 3 minutes seems a bit over the top.

But for Net App, top 10 in the Tour pretty much makes their year.

Konig can follow on the last climb, it's not like he's going to be attacking, he'll be happy to be 10th last person dropped.

    String vest. Why?

In fact what is the point of a string vest full stop?

It creates a layer of air between the shirt and skin, providing extra insulation. Sod all use for a cyclist on a hot day though.

Well that was a bizarre few minutes. Endura just burnt three of their riders and gained about 20 seconds on the break.

String vests are traditional cycling undershirts aren't they - supposed to be good for keeping cool in summer as well as warm in colder conditions. So functional and a retro-pro look.

Astana were just happy to sit on the front of the peloton, so Endura have decided to take it up again.

He was the first to attack yesterday and rode himself into the top ten. Ambition.

He may attack on this climb.

Not sure why all the people here are complaining about netapp - who consistently punch above their weight and I am super happy they have a big sponsor next year. Would you rsther they all rode wheels and Koenig wheel sucked the GC battle?!

Davidof, was it easy to get close to the riders? Always thought it wasnt really possible at the Tour vs the Dauphine for instance.

Joaquim sucking some major wheels again. Needs to learn from the massive spirit and attacking class of Arredondo.

Duller still are your posts saying it is dull which seem to be thr majority of stages. Why dont you put some classic races on or more exciting still the Tour of Denmark.
