Another rider I have no idea why he is on the team.
He's won a Vuelta stage KBK, which isn't bad for one of the C team. And he's an Aussie so he prepared to do Tour Down Under and Tour of Beijing

Is it possible Sky decided Kennaugh's development would be better served by leading at the ToA than working for Froome in the mountains?

"Arthur has been sick with bronchitis for five days. We were hoping that the heat would help him to be healthy again. Yesterday, it was difficult for him to follow the rhythm and today, the fast start has been too much. It's a pity. He would have had an important role alongside his best friend Thibaut Pinot in the coming days."

And he doesn't complain about not getting to ride for himself very often.

I believe Jurgen van den Broeck was an eyewitness and said he was descending recklessly.

He's gone in Frenchie's Big Book of Grudges too.

    FUGSLANG CRASHED

WHY THE F*UCK ARE YOU TAKING UNNECESSARY RISKS

Re-quote that Fat Faced Dane on what he said about Contador

Nibali slowing it up for him.

Let this be remembered as the point where you officially fully lost the plot.

Didn't you get a good degree from a good school and not use that language?

Looked sore for Fugslang, slid along way.

I doubt it given PK has been upset himself at not making the Tour. However as others have pointed out I suspect that it may well have. Hopefully he will race Poland as well.

I sent Junior out to wave anyway, he'd be a pixel on an HD TV.

At last a proper HC climb! I guess the heat is going to dampen attacks somewhat.

Big statement from FDJ. Pinot must fancy this.

Big ride so far from De Marchi. Jan Bak is going well...at 35secs. Peloton at 3. 21km left.

The heat is killing me and I am sat down. I have no idea how they can ride in this weather. Warriors.

Nibali only has Kangert, dropped on the previous Cat 1. He really shouldn't escape this unscathed. This better not turn into a podium contest.
