Garmin pressing on at the front with Talansky a few minutes off the back. Assuming he s going to abandon.

Garmin showing no mercy. Ruthless when it comes to killing off their own rider.

Who else are they riding for? I find that a bit strange.

It's not a bad finish for Slagter or Navardauskas, but why they needed to increase the pace I've no idea.

ITV commentator just now: "Average pace today is 43.6 miles per hour" - there's no way that's right?? Surely he means km per hour?

Oh OK he just corrected himself, he did mean km/h. Great commentating skills.

To be honest with you Demare has been pretty sh*t. Bouhanni would have been in the mix a lot more given his superior ability when the road goes up.

After a super motivating talk from Vaughters.

Would be impressive if the bulldog manages to finish inside the limit, recover then win a stage.

  • I guess Garmin's riding could actually help Talansky if it forces an early autobus to come backwards towards him.
